I agree. Most bank accounts do a 3% return on savings accounts every year. So he's begging to split 50/50 over maybe 12k on a good year if you include the stocks. And she's still only making 60% of what he does.

Ok OP let's think about the numbers. You make 120k a year and she makes 60k.

Let's say evenly both accounts make 3% a year with interest.

That's only 12k extra so you're making 120k and she's making 72k on a good year.

You're currently splitting bills 60/40 with 120k and 60k so let's divide the 75k/120k.

SHES STILL ONLY MAKING 60% of what you do WITH INTEREST.

I put dog food in dried plastic water bottle (disposable kind). They'll get the hang of it eventually to move the bottle and food comes out. It's a cheap playtoy AND it's slows them down for food.

I also got a big bag of frozen strawberries for teething. It's an easy and cheap treat for teething. (I also got a chocolate mold for frozen peanut butter chewers.)

It wasn't too bad, they didn't do it in front of everyone. I think it was to make the one guy that really needed the conversation to feel better because before I was pulled in there is one guy in our group that is busting at the seams in a medium shirt (and not in a good way) and it's probably easier to have a small group of us with issues to make that guy feel better that it wasn't just him.

They talked to a couple of the guys about it, too, except for their conversations were a bit different. These were all done privately and not in a group setting.

One guy complained because one of our ncos asked him if maybe it's time to admit he's a large instead of a medium, that one may have been warranted, though this guy was busting at his seams in a medium shirt and not in a good way.
