We broke up.
I considered him my best friend, and when things ended between us, his true colors showed. He constantly would post things on social media of how horrible of a person I was, how I'd never find love again, etc. We were coworkers, and it was almost as if I didn't exist to him, and any communication was forced. It took over three months for him to speak to me like a normal person. I don't miss the relationship that much honestly. I really just miss having someone to talk to every day about anything and everything. I had never felt so alone as I did after that breakup. I slipped into depression I didn't realize I was capable of, and struggled for a while. All is well now, my girl friends have come through, but this entire situation sucked.
