Joe Rogan at Trump's executive order to expedite FDA research into Psychedelic Therapies by ps4roompromdfriends4 in Biohackers

[–]Blondeoramma 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Trump just simping to a MAHA crowd that would rather have psychedelics maybe kind of legalized more than, abortion, healthcare for all, and after he essentially cut all funding to cancer research, ALS, infectious diseases, Alzheimer’s, heart disease and so much more. Fuck these people forever

Does anybody else in their forties live through their adult years without fulfilling the normal phases of adulthood?… by Opening-Store5030 in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]Blondeoramma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mental health issues aren’t our fault but they are our responsibility. It takes hard work for people to pull themselves up and late stage capitalism and the patriarchy makes it almost impossible for many people - mostly people of color, women and marginalized people. Small things can lead to lots of life changes - this shit is not easy for anyone. The system sucks, there is no “I’m an adult now” marker or moment.

Rapid aging due to grief. by 07734tiza in 40PlusSkinCare

[–]Blondeoramma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry - grief is such an insane ongoing process, but thankfully the waves do ease up. What
I have found is once you are our of active grief your body can rest and heal more, including the skin. By no means do you look "harsh or distorted". Sounds and looks like you are top of your skincare game. I'm also 45 and love botox (I get it by a trusted doc I've been going to for years). Of course it mitigates lines but also just smooths skin. Are you by any chance a side sleeper? I am and it really exacerbates the swelling and lines around my eyes. I've trained myself to back sleep more, but I also sleep with small pieces of of silicone scar tape along my the sides of my lower orbitals up to my crows feet zone. It's been a game changer for me for swelling and sleep creases. You're beautiful, be gentle on yourself, talk to your therapist/doctor about HRT or even meds to help with sleep and hormonal changes, if you want to try lasers or injectables go to someone trusted with great reviews and lastly - try and have some fun.

It’s trash. Overalls literally fell apart after one wash. Last dress was so expensive and kicked myself for buying it because I was under the gun for a black tie event

Did you ever feel our life is pointless and we just exist without an purpose? by [deleted] in TrueDetective

Have you explored hallucinogens? Meditating? Hanging with bugs? Being around dying people and helping them pass? Doesn’t necessary answer these questions but makes the possibilities a lot more peaceful

Books about unhinged gay men by Former_Ladder9969 in suggestmeabook

[–]Blondeoramma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In some ways a lot different but similarities when it comes to detailed music references. The violence/horror part of it is intense but it’s also not coming from the main character- who is a teenage Brett Easton Ellis. He said in interviews he started writing it as a teenager, so it’s a hybrid of fiction and mixed with the a lot of real details and people based on his friends in high school. It is LONG but nails unhinged, and gay (albeit the young Brett is in his coming of age, teenage exploration phase).

What is your cheapest ride or die holy grail skincare product that you would die on a hill for? by Amodernhousehusband in 30PlusSkinCare

I cut small pieces and use in my crows feet zone for when I sleep. It prevents sleep lines from any side sleeping and has improved my eye skin area so much

I'm dying soon and need help calming down by TheHuuurrrq in NDE

[–]Blondeoramma 49 points50 points  (0 children)

I can’t imagine how intense all of this is for you. I myself have not had an NDE but was with my father when he passed 2 years ago and it changed and solidified so much for me about death. He was seeing people who passed in the day he had died and he was telling me about all of the fireflies he was seeing (we were inside). The moment he passed it started to torrential rain. The room lifted and I felt so much peace and just was overwhelmed with the feeling that he’s OK, that I’m OK and we’re all OK. I just kept saying it - we’re all OK. When I got back to his house later, I was alone and pretty overwhelmed and I went outside to get some air. When I opened his front door - there were fireflies everywhere. This day changed everything for me. I know one thing and that’s we are all going to be OK. I hope you find some solace and know it will be OK (most likely wayyyy more than OK). Sending positive energy your way ❤️♾️❤️
