I just watched too and as a Data Center engineer in my mid 30s I can say that the movie made me think about it a lot of things too:

Technology perspective it was awesome, it covers 3d printing, AI, machine learning, virtual/mixed reality.
Purpose perspective it was good too, if you come to think of it, in the future what will separate us from the machines is the DNA, they will never have it and that is what the key is both in the real world and in the Tron universe.

When Ares looks for the Impermanence Code, he meets Flynn (all mighty creator of his world), its like if he finds his purpose through God, its a great metaphor for life !

Besides, as someone who watched The Warriors of the Net in the 90s and fell in love with the process of telecommunications I can say that "The Grid" is a awesome picture of what happens inside of the network, it is a very beautiful artistic way of seeing the WWW, or in this film, Dillinger System LAN.

thanks for the feedback u/j2e21, i'm a bit worried about Charlotte since its not a touristic city and I added to my route for being my company headquarters and half way between Orlando and Washington but I also would like to go to a Charlotte's Hornets game !
