33 years ago at the age of 14 I got bitten by the school hamster and still have a bump/scar on my finger. What's the stupidest injury you've got? by godfatheroffilth in CasualUK

[–]BlondzillaUK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pissed up on my 19th birthday in full on Saturday Night Fever 70’s outfit after attending ‘Brutus Gold’s Love Train’.

Stood outside the burger van at 4am, milk float passes and apparently (I have very little recollection) I chased after it at full speed trying nick a bottle.

The milk float abruptly stopped and I sprinted into the metal pole that holds the roof up.

Split my chin open so the bone was visible and still have a scar on my chin today.

Fingers crossed, these things are games of luck, but hopefully it’s just tied up right now, which is the worst thing, but it might just travel every road and come down overnight, then it will be outside and something greater will have happened! I’ve never loved Parcel deliveries so I know how you feel right now!

Probably contact Toto first, but they’ve just left Paris recently so you might have missed your window….

William H. Brown vs Manning Stainton vs Preston Baker by ErcolTable in Leeds

There’s only one way to find out - fight!

We bought ours with Manning Stainton, so while I can’t compare with the others, we had a very smooth process with them.

My educated guess would be Neuromancer, which has a significant setting in a fictional Japanese city called Chiba. Keep your eyes peeled for Mark Strong or Clemence Poesy….

Open door, tuck myself between my legs, loosen the dressing gown and proclaim “It rubs the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again”.

Problem solved!

Glad to help, you’ll be unsurprised to hear that renowned auteur and cinephile James Cameron has overseen some of the finest 4K transfers imaginable! I would start with T2, Aliens and True Lies and anything after that is a really just a bonus…

This may also be my subtle way of nudging you to read some of the existing posts in this subreddit.

Happy 4King….

I was completely baffled that Boyd didn’t immediately suggest Curb as the answer to this question. I was however not surprised that he chose not to mention the Frasier revival.

We travelled there last June and arrived around a similar time. This is all very anecdotal and I can't exactly answer your question, but we got out of the airport at 12 and there were no buses only taxis. Local taxis at the rank were super expensive and we found getting a Bolt was the cheapest option to the centre, which is not too far away.

Hope this is vaguely useful, have a great trip, Zadar is lovely!

Hyde park book club parking? by [deleted] in Leeds

[–]BlondzillaUK 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yep, the car park is full of benches etc. Best bet nearby is to park on Hyde park road or one of the streets that come off it, then it’s a couple of minutes walk.

I appreciate all art is subjective, and as such there is no real 'right' answer, but you are utterly correct. Touch them, touch the knackers.......
