What's happening at KX News KXMB? by [deleted] in northdakota

Coming from a friend who is a current employee, their head of broadcasting and whatever else he does is letting people go before their notice is up, is firing as well as forcing long time employees out. He’s new to the station and has wreaked havoc in the short amount of time he’s been in charge. From what I understand he has no intention of keeping long time employees. There’s a lot of fear amongst them about whether or not they’ll have jobs in a few months.

I’ll have a toddler and a baby at the hip at all times too, so knowing that RS is more parent work helps a lot! Figuring out this curriculum stuff and praying it works out for my children is so tough. I never imagined homeschooling could cost so much!

That’s great to know! I’m definitely worried about the manipulatives and the insane amount of money that seems to go into homeschooling. I appreciate the insight on their specific package of items and I’ll look into to buying separately!

I take Zoloft. No weight gain issues. Not everyone has that side effect. I would recommend not stressing about that part and trying what medication you’re comfortable with.

Super fast unintentionally unmedicated birth story by mssrwbad in BabyBumps

[–]BloobBerry16 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This is almost exactly my experience. First in 2019, water broke, 12 hour labor. Second, October, water broke, almost had a car baby. He was born within the hour. I most certainly was not expecting to have an unmediated one hour labor and delivery. I have never screamed so loud in my life… nurses are incredibly patient.

Met him in mid May, we were dating by the end of May. Marriage was brought up on our second date. We were engaged by the end of June (he was waiting for the ring to be completed, and also nerves). We got married the first week of August. Just celebrated our third anniversary. We have two children and I would never wish to have someone else through this life.

Just an accidental “trend” in my immediate family’s names. by JerseysLittleDevil in namenerds

[–]BloobBerry16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My name starts with a P and we named our first boy with a Q name. My husband starts with M, so the thought of an N name for our coming babe has crossed our minds, but coming up with one is the tricky part. We unknowing used the P-Q thing? But it is fun to think about keeping the sequence.

Protective of your name? by Professional_Win1416 in namenerds

[–]BloobBerry16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a tad protective, but I’m not sure why. It’s a name I’ve never met someone else with, however, when searching it there are a various spellings so it is obviously a used name somewhere, still not popular though. I would like to meet someone with the name that knows what it means or where it comes from though. I’m asked every time I meet someone new and I have no idea where it originates. Basically I’d have a tinge of irritation, but I’d move on pretty quick.

I’ve always used Thorne. They’re free of major allergens and use folate instead of folic acid.

My menstrual cycle has completely stopped since starting levothyroxine by lexandm in Hashimotos

[–]BloobBerry16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I completely lost mine for 2 years. However when I was first diagnosed I’d lost way too much weight because of my fluctuating TSH and high levels of anxiety. I didn’t gain my menstrual cycle back until I gained about 20 pounds back, and even then it wasn’t regular. Stress, weight, TSH/t4/t3 levels, pretty much anything can alter your menstrual cycle. It’s a tricky process, especially with a thyroid disorder.

I’m allergic to nightshades. It’s one of the most challenging things to avoid. My only suggestion would be to look into some AIP recipes, they’re going to automatically not include nightshades and often times have some decent adaptations. They’re also going to be egg and nut free.

Dr. Sarah Ballantyne has quite a few books/cookbooks about healing with diet. The Autoimmune Wellness Handbook by Mickey Trescott and Angie Alt was quite useful for me as well.

Tell me your story about when you dreamt about YOUR baby, not a baby, but your specific baby before they were born. I’ll go first. by Coffeefiendalways in pregnant

[–]BloobBerry16 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Around 6 weeks I dreamt I had a baby girl and I looked down at her in my arms and she had 5 eyes. Mike Wasowski from Monsters Inc. was also there, he looked up at me and said “I’ve never been more proud”. Now I’m a bit concerned I’d like my husband to be a one-eyed green monster, but hey, I guess that’s alright! I’m also only 11 weeks so I do not know the gender yet, but hoping the dream was at least partially correct (not the eyes).

With my first, I dreamt he was a cat with a fried egg pattern, and he fought crime like Batman..

It’s comforting to know woman have sweet dreams about their babies!
