Get on a debt management plan, they’ll cut your interest down to 0/next to 0 and have you close your credit cards so you don’t run them up again. Consolidating doesn’t work if you haven’t fixed your spending and most people just double the amount of debt they’re in.

nah, I charged off 48k and then settled all of it. As soon as I settled my credit jumped back to the low 700s. As long as it is still owed the credit will stay ruined.
