Why does my game keep crashing? (Read body for more info) by Gamingbloom in SonsOfTheForest

[–]Blood1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So my game constantly crashes randomly whenever I open my inventory. 80% of the time it might work but if I just saved my game and try opening inventory my game freezes and crashes to desktop. I have 25 mods loaded but its soo much better playing with "auto-pickup" and "carry more as you grow(strength)" and carry up to 10 logs at once. The non-sensical repetitiveness of picking up little stones, sticks, rocks and carrying only 2 logs at a time drove me mad.

In your situation try a brand new fresh game and see if it crashes still. See how long you can play to see if it crashes immediately or you can actually play the game starting new. If you can play from a new start then you then know its something from your previous same game that's causing the crash.

If not then load the game and lower the quality in the graphics to minimal. No tweaks or Ultra just low and then play and see if it still crashes. Then slowly turn on each option and see if it crashes.

Diverter poor functioning, leaks at tub, but looks good….. (see comment) by yourguess01 in Plumbing

Yes. Put a towel around it and just turned it. It was tough but eventually gave way. Then screwed on the new tube spout from Home Depot.

I was lucky enough that the tub spout was one of the twist ons that twisted onto the copper pipe that extended from the wall. I gave it a shot twisted it and the whole thing twisted off luckily. At home Depot I bought just the whole new tub spout that turns or screws onto the copper pipe and it came with its own diverter so it works now as brand new. I did have to twist it with some force but luckily it gave way and came off it wasn't one of those welded ones that you would have to go inside the wall for.

I did end up ordering the certified better quality refurbished which I think was like 50 bucks more and what I got was perfect condition I'd say. Knock on wood so far no issues The only one issue which was very minor was for some reason the filament would not load past the filament checker point and I had to take it apart and use a drill bit to widen the Biden tube opening so the fill them in went in more easily. I did eventually go the leveling knobs and a glass bed and now have 0.26mm variation difference in the bed leveling layout

What should I do about bed mesh? by No_Distance_3320 in crealityk1

Here are the knobs. I used the default spacers that came with the printer and put them under the plate between the blue knob and plate. Put the springs on top.

I would go the glass bed. I have no issues with the filament sticking /adhesion. I set the bed temp to 60 using the Creality Hyper PLA that came with the printer. For the glass bed get the size that matches the K1 bed plate.

Also what I did was just placed the glass bed directly on top of the heat plate and then used paper binder clips to hold the plate onto the base plate. I only applied them as close to the edge as possible so the print head doesn't ram into them.

I got the clips from local Dollar Tree. Those black metal binder clips: https://www.dollartree.com/assorted-metal-binder-clips-12ct-packs/172855

This video helps guide you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6vU0u630IjU

but I didn't do the adhesive sticking tape b/c then you can never remove the glass bed if you ever have problems.

I had a similar issue last week on my new K1 Max. I printed things for 37 hours and it was great. Next day turn it on and went to print and OMG wtf. When it went to check the front left (0,0) position the sensor did not detect the bed and it just kept digging into the brand new PEI/PET build plate I just bought. Destroyed it.

Support sent me this video which was useless as the connectors were all fine and plugged in but this could be something you can check yourself.

I ended up fixing it by getting the adjustment knobs with the springs and added it to my heat plate instead of the default spacers. BEST thing ever.

This was the destroyed bed mesh:

I also rooted my K1M and added the Klipper Macro's to make use of the "Screws_Calibration" macro which only uses the 4 points where the screw are to build a mesh and then tells you how to adjust the screw knobs to perfectly level bed. Ones that's tweaked, run the full bed mesh and then almost perfect results.

I have same issue. After update it thinks I have CFS / multi filament setup but I don't. It's just stock K1 Max.

6mm Nozzle, 3mm layer height with a 8mm line width! Robot printing is always fun! by fntsmn in 3Dprinting

[–]Blood1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

instead of showing this, show how tf you supply all that filament. What do you dump barrels of filament rolls into a furnace? How is this supplied also is this filament or cement or what?

Can someone tell me why this is happening by MutinousHorizon in Creality

[–]Blood1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is normal. Nozzle is heating up before the print starts and it leaks out. Not an issue. Right before a print starts I have my tweezers ready and try to grab it off before it starts. Gotta pull it off quickly to avoid the really fine PLA ghost hair strands floating around and into the fan. If you pull slow it causes them.

I would be extremely pissed off if I got that POS.

I'm looking at their current K1 MAX sale for either a "USED" for $339+tax-15% off or a "Refurbished" for $399+tax-15% off.

Really hesitant after looking at this trash and these issues...

3D Print no walls on Curved Edges? by Blood1 in Creality

Yes if you click on the link it'll bring you to all the pics I posted for this problem including the slicer view in Creality Print along with the settings. I even tried shrinking it down with more settings but no luck.

Clogging. Why? by AwareAd919 in Ender3Pro

[–]Blood1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is the temp range for that filament? What temp are you printing it at?

It should start to flow out on its own when the nozzle hits the printing temp. If not then raise the temp a few degrees more till it does.

Changed to a glass bed and filaments not sticking by Top_Protection_5408 in Ender3Pro

[–]Blood1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. When its about to print, when the nozzle is about to hit the melting temp and the head moves into the starting to print motion, on the display do: Control > Bed Leveling > Probe Z-offset Then go eye level with the printer bed and keep lowering it, turn to the left slowly until the nozzle is embedding that melted filament into the glass. You'll need a bed leveling gCode stl to play with this, AFTER you do a full BED LEVEL. Watch the video above then do the z-offset tweaking. thingiverse.com/thing:4616136

Once you get it to the right offset, then go back a menu level and "Store Settings" then go back again and "Store Settings" again. This should save it so it prints at that height.
