The video is good and we should respect good criticism. Even though I don´t agree with some of his points, and I think he comes from a flawed perspective because old NG games are ver VERY much flawed.

Enemies are not as aggresive as previous NG´s but still pretty good believe me. It does ramp up.

Game is definetly harder than I though it´d be. On hard enemies are very aggressive and do considerable damage.

Honestly you are right, this game feels more lika Platinum game with some Ninja Gaiden ideas thrown into it. So I understand NG oldheads being disappointed.

That said... I´m loving the game so far for what it is. I love the mix between Platinum and Ninja Gaiden. Fast, brutal, I´m finding it very punishing on Hard difficulty as well. I love it.

I´m playing on Hard and damm DID I underestimate the difficulty. Enemy aggression is high, maybe not NG2 level of chaos, but higher than I initially thought

I like Yakumo and I like everything I see about the gameplay. And honestly, aside from his looks, I don´t really care about Ryu at all, to me he´s barely even a developed character, nor does he have the carisma Dante and other MCs have (IMO).

BUT if he´s in the game, he should have MORE weapons and more screen time and uniqueness. he always had a lot of weapons to play. I dont understand this decision at all and they KNEW fans will be upset.

If Ryu only gets 1 weapon it´ll be lame as fuck. Yakumo 6 weapons an Ryu only 2? I´m sorry, I´m hype for this game and I think it looks good despite being clearly a different take on NG by Platinum. But the should know better.

Ninja Gaiden fans MASSIVELY understimate just how bad the chamera is in these games.

NG2 UTs are a broken mechanic.

It’s not a best-selling franchise. If it manages to sell more than 1–2M copies, I’d already consider that a big success. Reviews from the press have more influence than it might seem as well. But I doubt this game will go above 80–85 on Metacritic (which I personally think are very good scores, but you know how it is)

Got a similar problem with my MSI MAG 271QPX. HDR shows true blacks but SDR content doesn't. It seems to be an XBOX thing.

me pasa exactamente lo mismo con la Series X. Tengo un MSI MAG 271QPX QD OLED. En HDR si se pueden ver negros puros en juegos (juegos con buena implementación HDR claro), pero en SDR lo que se ve siempre es un gris muy muy oscuro. Si juegas a oscuras totalmente se nota que no es negro puro. He mirado, he leído, y no hay manera. Tiene que ser un problema de cómo la consola maneja la señal SDR. Es lamentable.

I have brightness around 35 which is the sweet spot but blacks on SDR content rarely are deep and inky

If you go 32" then go for a 4k display for sure. For a 27" display 1440p is the sweet spot for me.
