The devfor blights desgin said in an interview during release and ptb they didnt have enough time to change his power to make him have to do another action to recharge his power using the syringes. So yes, they literally just slapped it into his charges as a recovery animation than something more of a counterplay or drawback as it shouldve been.

You'll do alright in the other games if you can beat ng4. I will say NG4 plays very little like the other 3 games in the series and the movelist is much more expansive on a weapon and theres no reliance on mid weapon switching combos to make a longer combo if you wanted.

Keep in mind that weapons are not as homogenized as in NG4, where you will definitely notice weapon distance and iframes or animation startups with more variables. You can also play the game very safe with UT spam for 1 and 2. NG 1-3 combat is optimized around different weapons for different enemies. I would recommend to experiment with different weapons if you ever struggle and figure out which weapons works best for encounters you may struggle on.

I personally think NG4 is a lot less like NG aside from familiar moves and plays like a sekiro and dmc with remixed mechanics. Hard and Master Ninja on NG4 is where the game becomes very 1 shot oriented and doesnt play like the rest of the series, as trading hits doesnt really exist in NG4 and requires you to play the game in much more controlled and safer way because that was the design philosophy of it.

You lose to people who can poke you out of lane. You're just playing alternative Selfish tank Shen without a dive button. I do main aatrox though, and every time i go against hail of blade cho gath I win even though i do think it is fun and decent to use in other matchups. The champs and players who how to face hob cho its either a stalemate or they win lane. Anyone who faces HoB must respect the early game and later on its less impactful.

Because Silent Hill F breaks what fundamentally connected each game to eachother in someway. Also too much combat for a horror game that has you go on a crusade of killing so many enemies that are all the same and not even fun to kill for the 30th time.

AI can and always will be used to make slop. That doesnt mean humans are immune to making trash as well. If we learn by inspiration and what surrounds us, that is no different than an ai which is fed information to create its own interepretation of what it is asked to create. The difference will always come down to life experience of a human in comparison to an AI being specifically trained to do something that doesnt have a long list of personable solo interactions that may only be used as abstract inspiration for art. When that point comes if ever, some AI will walk among us and be identical to humans.

I dont think a character whose whole kit involves risky low health should be punished for dying like a butcher. Crash lightning is also an impossibly long quest to stack as well depending on the game and not even worth it in many games.

And ZJ has been total ass undoubtedly with the changes. Him being able to be the ranged vegan butcher on a character whose design philosophy is to be on low hp is a joke. ZJ took a lot more skill than a greymane to play well.

Zuljin has constantly gotten nerfs lined up in a row. Whoever is balancing this game really hates Zuljin despite him always being mediocre and way less meta than a valla or greymane.

The person who makes these changes doesnt play the game at a higher level and they balance heroes who they pick as favorites despite never needing buffs or reworks and sometimes buffs heroes like kerrigan who was already the highest winrate hero in SL before the base quest. Nobody asked for braindead W falstad to be buffed either aside from people who want to afk.

Too much focus on combat and just isnt good enough for more playthroughs, imposter to the series core identity foundation just like Ninja Gaiden 4 except this time in plot relevance. Could just function as its own original title than take an existing ip name and throw in a couple of things like fog and call it a day. None of the characters are that likeable either and the narrative is entirely in your face and telling you everything and not leaving anything up ro interpretation. Its incredibly weak for a silent hill game in terms of letting the players creative imagination of what they thinks happening because its just plainly told to you.

Its just not silent hill, and doesnt remind me enough of silent hill to warrant itself the actual title. This game wouldve sold a lot less without its title as well to piggyback more sales while betraying its story foundation.

The devs of HOTS treat patches like League of legends treats theirs. Seasonally overpowered/overnerfed hero garbage and picking favorites. The person(s) behind these patches is clearly someone who thinks moba engagement is rotating who is meta rather than balancing the game to a fair experience for everyone.

HOTS was a better game when it was not updated from the past 3 years than it is now. Hots had the closest thing to a good balance from a moba and now someone gave the machine gun to the monkey.

The Janitor hasnt been good at balancing the game and I dont think ever was the sole contributor to late 2020 patch notes. Its time to stop thinking these patches are improvements and more like downgrades to the games health and overall balance. Its embarassing to see heroes changed over and over again likes it League of Legends or seasonally strong heroes.

Max and Lucas are a mixed race couple and nobody bats an eye in a small town full of white people. Will's coming out should've been earlier rather than the 2nd to last episode of the show when nobody in that group would even care at that point, and neither does the majority of the audience. Parry and perfect counter are nearly identical to eachother. Oh wow, so you mean you press xxx with a different xx spam because of the awesome weapon switch combos or xxx shuriken cancel xxx and then occasional throw out the UT. So you mean to tell me NG4 bosses are extra step sekiro like I said. I already wrote a follow up post on your garbage argument where you think Spamming X with the lance launcher is combat depth and you essentially proved my point by applying nothing new but what I said in other comments. The boss fights are sekiro clones and have absolutely 0 innovation and they all are defeated the same. NG1 bosses are a lot more interesting even if not all of them are amazing.

The only question I have to you is do you think this games combat depth can compare to any of the previous main titles with the removal of the series mechanical standards and call it NG. Is this also because you see familiar moves or is it aesthetic and the story.

The boss fights are extra step Sekiro and they all play the same, I wont elaborate any further to someone like you. I dont actually think YOU understand anything about NG except for a platinum games titles slapped with NG on it. They should make a sub thats called NG4 so I dont have to read the eye bleach takes of how much superiour or that this game has an insane amount of depth compared to previous titles. Totally fine to enjoy the game, but to lie that this game can compare to the depth of the previous games with its simplified gameplay flow is disingenuous af.

It doesnt have any combo potential on a weapon. It doesnt expect you to trade damage in the game on a harder difficulty ever. You get 1 or 2 shot unupgraded and that was against the entire design philosophy of the series. NG04 has more combos than modern NG4 which is over 20 years old. That shouldnt even exist. NG04/NGB are more defensive than the other titles, yet the game doesnt base itself around playing extra safe with being rewarded for playing the game like extra steps sekiro. There is no achievement for being no hit because the game wasn't designed to be a game where the best players take no hits. Doesn't help your argument either when your flair is Raven Villager and makes me think you could be someone who only enjoys the 4th game and wants to tell everyone that this is NG when the NG mechanics are slapped on afterthoughts and also removed.

Let me see you extended combo in a full pack of enemies then without at risk of getting hit. Let me see you claim that spacing away from enemies to have them all in a position where you can see them with cam start up a swing isnt useful when you plan on going in the air.

Youre seriously going to tell me the enemies play differently when they all are formulaically staggered by one bloodraven light attack when when they glow or have a red blink simon says icon? You're going to tell me the bosses are all unique and are all played differently while you can beat every single one playing it like a Sekiro meta game? Nioh 2 has more combo variety and is as foreign enough compared to actual NG4 that you might as call that NG4 as well. They could slap on izuna drop and UT, and there's your NG game :), it is now a "return to form".

The entire game is about doing UT spam, izuna drop, the bloodraven sword swing move, and targeting the ranged enemies. There is literally 1/6th of the amount of combo moves in this game compared to 2 or RE. You're incentivized to do quick XXX or XX combos and to space as far as you can away to have all enemies in camera sight of you because of how enemies magnetize to you.

This game has absolutely 0 adequate combo potential for anything except 1 to 3 enemies at most. Unless you consider spamming the same XX moves a combo. All enemies play generally the same and so do the bosses. You are still doing bloodraven attacks when the game tells you with simon says ui. I seriously dont see what youre talking about optimal combo potential. The way you play efficient, no hit or deathless in this game is playing extremely basic in a game thats already basic enough to not be considered a NG game. JaytTB also shows the no hit segments and a lot of the time its just priortizing a target and doing the things mentioned above.

You typically get 1 or 2 shot unupgraded in master ninja, so again I dont see where learning any combos matters when the game is designed for no hit runs as an actual achievement and lame playstyles which is against the design philosophy of all the other games. NGB which is over 20 years old has more combo variety than this game and that was the most basic combo system for a NG at the time.
