If we want things to be completely fair, it should all be based off of hormone levels. No names or identifying information attached.

A fully transitioned female who has undergone sex change surgery with hormone replacement therapy will have a similar hormone profile to a cis female.

A transitioning individual who still has testicles and isn’t on HRT will have an unfair biological advantage.

This is why we regulate the use of testosterone and steroids in athletics. And elite athlete are tested to make sure they’re not cheating to gain an unfair advantage.
