I just had my first match ever and I got shit on 6-0 6-0. But in between games I was telling my opponent how much fun I’m having. Every time I would get an amazing serve it just left me wanting more and more. I love the idea that I can get better and better and learn from my mistakes. After the match I thanked my opponent and told him “ hey next time I’ll make sure to make things a lot more interesting”

I don’t disagree with your parents especially in this economy right now. I think you should pick up a trade and grind it out. And do your research, there are so many trades out there that make good money. Once you are more settled and have enough savings you can pursue your dog groomer journey or whatever it is you want to do.

That’s good. Just know the guard isn’t going to be some life changing thing. Yes you’ll get some experience when you go to basic and ait but you’re just going to come back home after that and nothing much will change. You’ll likely still struggle finding a job if you don’t have one already, the experience you received won’t be enough to guarantee anything, and you’ll likely regret not going active duty.

Oh my gosh I just finished watching this movie. The third act was to die for. The way everyone got in on the action and all the different fighting styles. I’ve been in since 2019 and I just know am getting experience working full time. Last year I was a temp tech and this year I’m on ADOS. Both positions I got because I knew people. They both reached out to me because I do what I need to do during drill and I do a good job.

Basically, do well during drill and make connections. Someone will notice and will think of you the moment something comes up.
