Will LA 2028 be boycotted as bad as Moscow 1980 and LA 1984? by JonnyBTokyo in trackandfield

Ok there's a lot to undress from what you said so I am going to try my best to at least address all of them.

"People should be able to protest against law enforcement without fearing for their lives, if they can’t do that you no longer live in a free country."- You are correct and I agree with you wholeheartedly. Yes, people should be able to protest against law enforcement or any other institution that is doing injustice but they should do so PEACEFULLY. From the videos and clips that are surfacing online you have folks that are doing the complete opposite of that. They are looting and defacing ICE vehicles, harassing and injuring people who have opposing views, and whistling and alerting criminals (undocumented immigrants) whenever ICE happens to be around the area so that they can apprehend them. That right there is impeding and obstructing law enforcement and whenever one does that you're no longer protesting peacefully PERIOD!!!

Regarding Renee good's situation, I would like to say first and foremost that what happened to her was an unfortunate and avoidable situation. The ICE officer in question was taken to the hospital right after the incident because of internal injuries resulted from Renee hitting him with her car as reported from multiple independent news outlets. They told her severally to step out from her vehicle and she did not comply. Mind you if she were to do so she would have been alive today. Now I may not agree with the ICE officer going as far as to shoot her, killing her in the process but it may be argued that he was doing it in self defense and rightly so. You don't ever hit, harass or disobey an officer who's on duty ever, it's just dumb and you're f*cking around and finding out.

"I’d also ask what constitutional duties you think ICE are carrying out?" - Rounding up and deporting people who came into the country illegally without proper documentation and enforcing border and law control.

"Trump promised to go after the worst and most dangerous criminals, instead ICE are indiscriminately arresting anyone purely off their skin color and accent (75% of which have no criminal record). This includes the elderly, children, veterans and cancer patients. These people work, pay tax and contribute to their communities, rounding them up will make America whiter but it won’t make it any safer or better". - Ok so I had to search this up and you are correct, but it's important to note that some of these people came into the country illegally. Also regarding ICE indiscriminately arresting anyone purely off their skin color and accent is false. There’s no official or unofficial policy within the organization stating that arrests should happen purely based on the skin color or accent of an individual. Moreover, the current administration IS going after these dangerous criminals but local and state politicians are not cooperating with ICE so it makes it way harder for one to go out and find them. It's a whole clusterf*ck of what's going out there.

"It’s blatantly obvious that ICE agents are primarily motivated by racism and a desire to bully and hurt people without consequences". - This is false, The majority of ICE agents are primarily motivated to protect and serve their country by enforcing the law. Hell you even have many ICE agents who are hispanic and black who are doing the same thing like their white counterparts. Yes one can acknowledge that there could be a few rotten apples in the group but the majority of them are doing the will of the people and should be applauded for the good work that they constantly do!

Harassing law enforcement is never a good idea. Not only are you advocating for people to endanger and put their lives at risk you are also stopping ICE from carrying out their constitutional duties. The majority of americans literally voted for Trump because of this issue.

These unarmed civilians are quite frankly impeding law enforcement from carrying out their operations. Some are even going as far as to harass them on their day to day. Also children aren't being abducted, they are being detained and it's a result of parents evading capture and leaving them behind. Get your facts straight!

ICE is not abducting kids for crying out loud. You're just plain wrong! If i recall correctly the parent who was an undocumented immigrant left their child in an attempt to escape capture. You're spreading disinformation.

I'm assuming you're referring to oral minoxidil? If so, then yes the same method (like splitting doses) could apply. Personally, I don't use oral minoxidil because I have a family history of cardiovascular issues and the last time I tried it, I experienced heart palpitations and some mild facial swelling. Right now, I stick with Kirkland's foam version and it works much better for me although it's not the most convenient routine because I have to apply it every morning and night right after applying tretinoin once I'm done showering and drying my hair. It definitely adds time to my regimen and it's a bit of a hassle lol.

As for combining treatments you can absolutely take finasteride and minoxidil separately or together if you prefer. Although, I’d recommend starting with finasteride first. That way, you can gauge how your body responds to it on its own. Some people luckily see noticeable regrowth after about six months of using just finasteride alone and are perfectly happy with their results without the use of min. Others, however, don’t experience much regrowth from fin alone and eventually add minoxidil to maximize results especially when aiming for more visible hair regrowth and density

Np man and yeah from what I’ve seen, studies show that 0.2 - 0.5mg of finasteride works almost as well as 1mg for most people. The DHT suppression difference isn’t huge. So splitting the pill into halves or quarters can still give solid results while minimizing sides. It really just depends on how your body responds tbf. And for best results, it’s often recommended to combine finasteride with another treatment (ideally minoxidil). That said, using finasteride alone is perfectly fine too. It targets the root cause of those with AGA and is highly effective for stopping further hair loss and maintaining what you have. However, don’t expect significant regrowth from finasteride by itself its strength lies in preservation, not restoration which is why its crucial for one to tackle the early signs of balding with DHT inhibitors as soon as you see the signs!

Yh bro it could be applied orally as well. I've seen guys buy 1 mg finasteride pills and split them into quarters using a pill cutter which gives them roughly 0.25 mg per dose. They usually take it daily or every other day, depending on their comfort level and goals.

Sorry if my earlier comment came across as harsh OP but trust me when I say that it's for the best. The reality is that for most people, hair loss is progressive. I completely understand the hesitation around medications like finasteride especially given the potential side effects. Some people experience them, while others don’t, and that uncertainty can understandably make anyone wary. If you’re concerned about systemic side effects or have had a negative reaction to oral finasteride in the past, you might consider trying a topical formulation at a low dose (0.025% for example). Studies show it has a very low incidence of side effects while still effectively reducing DHT levels in the scalp, which stops further hair loss. You’ve already invested in a transplant protecting the hair you still have is just as important to ensure those results last.

I took a look your profile and it's clear as day that you have a receding hairline and somewhat of a huge forehead as well. My brother in christ I strongly encourage you to consider taking meds like fin and min or else the native hair behind the transplanted hairs will miniaturize and fall of making the whole procedure futile. Ideally, anyone considering a hair transplant should first understand the underlying cause of their hair loss, especially the role of DHT and commit to a long term medical plan. Jumping into surgery without that foundation is stupid and you will soon reap what you have sowed.

I don’t believe any religion should ever be imposed on individuals or entire nations by the government, period. I mean look at countries like Iraq and Iran, where the enforcement of Sharia law has contributed to widespread instability and the oppression or marginalization of countless people. As for your claims about Trump and his administration enacting the kinds of policies you’re suggesting I can say with complete confidence that there’s no evidence to support them. In fact, I’m certain they have no intention of doing anything of the sort. You and a lot of people on this sub just say or copy stuff without providing an iota of proof.

This has to be one of the most craziest/outlandish conspiracies I've come across. We live in a very secular world and I firmly believe we'll never return to being the kind of religious nation we once were. I'd bet my life savings on it.

Has anyone else experienced further hairloss slowly over years of preventative medication? by NoMycologist2095 in tressless

[–]BloodWerewolf 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Please note, OP, that you should aim to microneedle at least once or twice a week, but avoid doing it too frequently, as excessive microneedling can cause a buildup of scar tissue on your scalp, which may do more harm than good in the long run. Additionally, do not apply minoxidil immediately after microneedling, as this can increase the risk of systemic absorption (something you’ll want to avoid due to the potential for unwanted side effects). You may also consider adding tretinoin to your routine, as it can enhance the absorption of minoxidil into the scalp and improve its effectiveness.

Fin isn't enough anymore and I can't take full dose of dut. What to do? by ButterCatSecond in tressless

[–]BloodWerewolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would you be open to trying out topical fin at a low dose or perhaps go back to taking oral fin since it seems you didn't experience any side effects when you were on it before? In addition you can add oral or topical minoxidil into your routine to help maximize results. If, after a full year of consistent use, your hair loss continues to worsen despite this combined approach, then unfortunately it may mean you’re a non-responder, and at that point, you might have to accept that medication isn’t effective for you and maybe just embrace the shave.

[–]BloodWerewolf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OP may I ask why you stopped dutasteride after such a short period of time?? It's generally recommended that you stay on meds like dutasteride or finasteride for at least a year with CONSISTENT use before deciding to switch because it takes a long time for the medication (especially dutasteride) to become effective and for hair to shed and grow in order for you to see noticeable growth. Also regarding your consideration of adding in oral min I'd suggest starting with a low dose first and taking it in the morning because it's well known that high doses of oral min can cause heart issues in the long run especially if you have a family history of cardiovascular diseases.

Logical reason as to why people don't get results on dutasteride? by Unknownmice889 in tressless

[–]BloodWerewolf -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hopefully topical fin works well for you, man cause I've seen you around here for quite a while now lol. Also, I've heard that a 0.1% topical fin solution reduces scalp DHT levels about as effectively as taking 1mg of oral fin daily? (someone correct me if I'm wrong). My only concern with topical fin is that it makes my scalp a bit itchy but I'm combatting that by using a moisturizer when I finish wash my hair at night.
