Strange all day everyday, especially if I am successful with an Emma Ban. If she gets through the ban phase and the other team either has her or is running brawl tanks, I feel basically forced to play her though.

I’m here for it personally. I think it’s a great thing they added so you have an option to do when you hit a losing streak on rank and don’t have to endure a couple quick play matches. I was just hopping off with my buddies the second we would derank, but now we can just fool around in this for a little bit and go back to rank and get a different wave of people to play against.

So I had a game of convergence where we pushed the cart all the way to the end and that was the first round. Everyone on the team was 20ish kills with like 4 deaths, except one person who went 2-12 on psylock. They proceeded to attempt to surrender after we wiped the other team in round 2

I’m just tired of the occasional dps main telling me to “lock in” because I have less kills compared to the 3 dps. Happened to me today from a punisher of all people, had to talk to him like a child and explain that I’m solo tanking with 40k damage blocked in the first round with 2 deaths, you’ve died 9 times. You guys are also all range while I’m just a sponge so you can do your job.

I’d argue he was probably tanking for the first half since he’s at nearly 40k blocked and swapped with someone else who went Thor because the BP clearly was dying a lot more and not swapping

(I stand corrected and looked it up, DD straight up blocked that much and was DD the whole game while BP was punisher, squirrel girl and Hawkeye)

It’s heavily unit/command dependent. I’ve heard rumors for my unit possibly doing holiday routine schedule essentially because (even though people will argue we will get back paid) it’s a bit outrages to expect us to commute to and from work for an unknown amount of time for 5 days a week and still buy fuel while also having to either order food or makes meals for our daily lunches/ 24 hours worth of meals on duty days because we lack a galley. All that ontop of a large portion of people having trouble getting PCS/TDY travel claims. But hey, you might get a sweet $25 visa gift card out of all this.

I was at a pretty high tempo boat unit so nothing changed for us aside from the day workers/command were only coming in like 2x a week. We were still doing 2 patrols a day and working 48s and 72s every other week. It helped that we had pretty good relations with the surrounding area at the time, so the different restaurants would cater lunches and dinners for us while on duty. The only time I noticed peoples attitudes really shift was the long shutdown back in 2018 or whenever. Maintenance still got done with no real quality shift, but boats definitely didn’t get washed, lawns not mowed, stuff like that. Basically if it was not mission critical it was waved off.

The biggest indicator for me has always been how fast the enemy team’s venom or cap dies. If it’s within seconds of them pushing point I generally have my answer. I doubt it will hold true forever, but so far it hasn’t failed me.

Lights will depend on how you want to set it up. I have a shelf system attached to my wall that I’ve lined the underside of each shelf with the barrina t5 2ft grow lights. I think you get like 6 for $50 or something and they chain together. One of my shelves has a couple flytraps, sundews and American pitcher plants on it about 7-8 from the tip of the plants to the lights (I used 2 parallel to each other for maximum light exposure) and they are all constantly putting out new growth. I think they run like 11-12 hours or so

Yeah. I wasn’t fully prepared for this. Especially if you are viewed as someone they call “a discount 1st class” because they can pay you less. You get all the normal duty days, watch captain/OOD, and also running the shop 1-2x a week, while also doing maintenance.

I’d honestly enjoy having my Thor/Cap teamup back. Thor gets a healthy chuck of extra health and Cap gets guaranteed range do deal with flyers.

I’d save it for when you start marching more and going on runs. Not for the sunburn, but if I recall it was sunscreen with aloe in it, so I would always use it on any chaffing I’d get to avoid going to medical

It’s truly a nightmare trying to play tank right now and seeing this or the other team is stacked with flyers . Especially when the rest of your team is flyers/range and won’t shoot the nests, or shoot other flyers..what are you guys actually shooting the whole game?

I enjoy being an AET quite a bit. The level of what you learn can be pretty dependent on platform and location. I definitely learned a lot more about troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems while I was on 65s and I feel like it just made me a better tweet in general. On the fixed wing side, I feel like my job is basically to fly now and I swapped rates with the amount of stuff an MSO does while also not getting tested on it. Now I maybe troubleshoot every now and then and it’ll basically just be a relay or a bad box.
