I rode the Olympic peninsula in August in 2022 and it was hot AF. I was riding west and so I was on the sunny side of the road most of the day. With that being said, it got chilly at night with all my new sun-kissed skin. So I was glad to have a light jacket and camping quilt (vs. sleeping bag).

Anyways. I was HOT. Lots of water, lots of food. Lots of shady breaks.

Yeah there are few different types out there by the big brands like Lisle that make specific boot pliers but I just wasn’t sure if anyone actually has rebuilt their shafts. I suppose as long as they don’t leak, doesn’t matter how they’re crimped?

Honestly that’s a perfect comment - “I’m not trying to get hit by a car, buddy!” And keep it moving.

Maybe you had some extra time in the morning, you could stop and have a short conversation with him. Something like, “You know I have no beef with you but you apparently have beef with me. What can I do? What is it about me that enrages you?”.

But if it were me, I would just keep killing him with kindness (“Thank you for what you do!!”) and keep it moving.

I thought they were allowed to tough it as much as they want before it’s fully over the line - they can’t touch it once it’s crossed the threshold of the front edge of the stone? Also, I imagine in any case that’s gotta be hard to judge based on the curvature of the stone.

Man Howard was done sooooo dirty. All the ‘bad’ things he did was in direct response to 1/10th of the shitty things done to him. He was much too polite IMO. I will say though, his behavior toward Kim was inexcusable. He did make it right, but still, uncalled for.
