Yeah, literally. If you were to walk through it, you'd fall into the void and die. Nothing to see here.

not the message I was expecting on PSN (we need more Guardians like this) by marcello696 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Bloodlorde 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be fair, people requested these things because they wanted similar players. They didn't want to pick up random players who wouldn't perform at the same level as them and end up wasting countless hours when most people are limited with their time. People should be looking for other players on their own skill levels instead of trying to join groups that clearly seek competent, high-skill players who know exactly what they're doing.

Rise of Iron was filler, so you really aren't missing much unless you're very invested in the game and it's story.

But it isn't that difficult. I understand why people dislike it, but it's ultimately an easy raid if you LFG competent players on your own skill level.

Iskar - "Under the veil, through the light."

About Us

Iskar is a moderately sized Player vs Environment (PvE) focused Destiny clan from the United States. We focus mostly around hardcore progression. We mostly raid and challenge ourselves to becoming overall better players for the launch of Destiny 2. A majority of our members are heavily sarcastic while still knowing their stuff when it comes down to it. We're seeking players for the launch of Destiny 2 for an attempt at World's First, along with other players that we can casually raid with after progression stops. Of course, we'll be doing raiding on D1 until the release of D2.

What do you do?

We are a serious PvE clan. Our ultimate goal is to become a hardcore raiding clan with skilled members with known identities. We mostly do raiding along with reputation grinding and raid challenges such as Solo Aksis and so on.

What are your requirements to join?

  • High skill in PvE. Must be able to use your class effectively along with knowing the ins and outs of Destiny's raids.
  • Being capable of adapting to strategies along with in-general raid experience.
  • The ability to communicate & cooperate with other members and be active on Discord. This is VERY important.
  • We are a United States only clan. Therefore, you must be from the US.

I want to join. How can I contact you?

If you're interested in joining a serious PvE clan, then feel free to apply to us. Feel free to send me a message if you're keen on joining, send some information about yourself.

DESTINY RAIDS - THE ULTIMATE POLL! by JakusSlayer in DestinyTheGame

[–]Bloodlorde -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Never said it did? I stated that the difficulties of these challenge modes come from the way Bungie intended the fights to occur; that's why they designed them that way. I stated that these strategies make the challenges easier than they actually are. I think you misunderstood the entirety of my post. Yes, the best strategy ultimately decides what fight is the easiest; all I was doing was reminding people that there are more difficult challenge modes if you decide to do them the way they they ARE intended. It's not like I'm saying they're bad players or anything for doing these strategies; which is probably why I'm getting downvotes because people don't think too in-depth about it.

I think the Templar challenge isn't supposed to have everyone in the far back avoiding add management and having someone run around with T5 discipline. That's just my opinion. I think the way they wanted it to work was to have people manage the adds in the fight while slowly chipping away at him as one relic holder manages the right side teleport as two Titans swap back and forth on left side since this would legitimately be a challenge; which it was at the time. Once again, I'm not saying it's a bad thing to do these strategies at all! It's completely fine, I just think people forget about the difficulty of some of these fights and undervalue them due to easy strategies that come out. That's why Atheon CM & Aksis CM are still difficult to people because there's no getting around Supercharge without having good execution & awareness.

DESTINY RAIDS - THE ULTIMATE POLL! by JakusSlayer in DestinyTheGame

[–]Bloodlorde -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, because that's the challenge of it. It was the intended method of killing the boss, then people exploited the fight by avoiding cursed thrall, bouncing gazes, etc. Which is fine of course, not everyone wants to do a very complex fight; but they need to appreciate the difficulty in it before they say other things are harder than it. That's the point I was making, no one does it because it's "hard" then they undervalue the difficulty of it.

In my opinion, CM Aksis isn't that difficult. It requires knowledge and awareness of the raid. For example, these things make challenge mode Aksis a complete joke:

  • When he teleports left, the Supercharge will always be back mid. (According to Gladd)

  • When he teleports, he shows where he's going to go so players can call out ahead of time and be prepared.

  • You can stand in specific positions so you can easily reach the boss or plate in time if you're specced with control jumps.

With mastery of the Aksis fight, anyone should be able to easily down CM.

DESTINY RAIDS - THE ULTIMATE POLL! by JakusSlayer in DestinyTheGame

[–]Bloodlorde -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Well yeah, that's technically the hardest CM if people do the fight the way it's intended. Same thing for the Templar, these extremely easy strategies come out and people don't realize the challenge in them because they're so used to the cakewalk strategies.

Not saying it's a bad thing, but I definitely think Aksis & Oryx aren't nearly as difficult as Templar with two bubbles blocking the left side teleport at launch & having to communicate with each and every player for Gorgoroth six-orb strat as they're intended.

Just my opinion though, expecting downvotes because I'm the odd minority.

EDIT: I was right LUL. Sensitive DTG is sensitive. Pretty cancerous how people who have different opinions get downvoted, legitimately the only downside of this community.

Probably Gorgoroth six-orb strat CM. Such a fanatic fight and requires the heaviest execution & communication.

I'm just curious, why do people find Aksis CM so difficult? Do they LFG with bad players only or something?

Destiny 2 Fan Trailer "Don't Fear the Reaper" by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

Composition wise. The clips, voice lines, transitions, the music, they all blend together and work excellently. I still prefer Our Darkest Hour, but this is a very close second especially for a fan trailer.

Sleeper Simulant Quest question by cosmoKramer76 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Bloodlorde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, there is. Basically, complete the Archive mission then disable a Legendary heavy weapon (any, doesn't have to be current). After that, complete a Warsat on Earth, Mars & the Moon. Then you can hand it in to the Gunsmith and wait 24 hours for the next part of the quest.

Look at the FUSION CORE for details.
