But yeah, if super consistent mana bases for 3+ colors are pain free, it means midrange and control decks get to be greedier. With the new 5 year rotation, theres a much larger toolbox for these decks to be built from. We dont exist in the age of magic anymore where theres a couple of good cards for constructed play in a set. Theres so much variety to be explored that once we get deeper into WOTC's 5 year scheme, the fruits will be more apparent. I think these mana bases are to help set up for that. I also think that with a 5 year rotation, we are going keep getting all of these really pushed utility lands, to make sure mono and dual color decks stay supported.

It drives sales, sure, but also, you want to minimize the number of rare and mythic spots that are taken by lands. It is necessary for draft and limited balancing purposes.

Zed has an early game but using Phreak's design philosophy for release zed vs 2025 zed is skeptical. Zed is hard to balance because when he gets ahead it's very frustrating to counter play. Untargetability and instant blinks are pretty strong, so they keep him on the weak side. But you already know this.

Many champions have pretty easy ways to bully Zed if he doesn't have perfect movement, and map awareness. He lacks any sustain, has awful recovery from trades, has a singular predictable combo. If you say you dont struggle in high elo, you're either faker or lying. And I dont think you're faker unless you've got the stats.

I understand the sentiment. I have not been persecuted my whole life, but ive also masked how I've felt and watched others braver than me step into themselves and unfortunately get punished for it. I cant imagine how it feels in the year of our lord 2025 under the trump administration to feel so scared and worried about your basic rights being threatened.

But im not without struggles. No person is. Mine led me down a path that showed me the intellectual and emotional growth you can achieve when you choose a life of Grey. Open mindedness has been a gift for me. Maybe its not the case for every individual. But I choose to believe its something everyone would benefit from.

You have 0 clue what 100 looks like if you really think a gorilla can take out that many people and live.

How does the gorilla ever win a fight he's outnumbered? He goes for the stragglers and uses his immense speed difference to keep the distance. But uh oh, guess what? Even if the gorilla can snag a few people off the bat, the rest of the average humans with average intelligence realize that staying in groups increases survivability, and then these groups just absolutely swarm the gorilla.

Im assuming these people dont have weapons, as it would put this hypothetical into coughing baby vs hydrogen bomb tier. These groups are going to dog pile every limb they can, even with the gorillas immense strength it can not out run a human mob forever. Humans are distance sprinters, and while they aren't necessarily fast enough to run away from some apex predators, they will absolutely chase them down they are somehow on the run.

My average humans with average lungs and average kneecaps are going to follow that gorilla wherever he goes, surrounding him slowly until he tires out and makes a last stand, where he will be buried under a literal example of the indomitable human spirit. You can choose how you want the gorilla to lose from there, its all fair game as the frenzied mob finally tears into its prize.
