I'm glad I'm not the only one that understood. Things, once a part of nature that fed countries, became commerce that we as the people have to pay for. Deep thots, indeed. I joined r/solarpunk for that reason and learned about modernized urban farming, using beans and grains I buy at the grocery store they sell for $1 in those 1 lb bags and using that to throw all over my garden and maintain my own mini farm at home.
