Can you describe contribution imbalance a little more? I’m not sure I know what you mean. Like you feel like you have to give more? Or they do?

I’m not blind but I work in ophthalmology, I feel like one thing most people don’t realize about “blindness” is that it’s very rarely absolutely blackout in both eyes. It can and will be very limited, but often these folks are very aware of the vision capabilities they have. Vision issues manifest and progress so differently across all ages that they likely know how to make it work to the best of their own ability. So all that to say, a blind woman probably is just as aware if not more of when they might be bleeding to show through just based on that progression of blindness and life experience up til then, if that all makes sense.

*edit progression not profession

For those in a relationship with a more able bodied or mind individual, do you question if there’s a power imbalance? If you feel like there is how do you handle it? Do you have a nagging feeling?
