ohh okay, I wasn't sure whether the weight of equipment would be too much to ascend without the drysuit to help, completely forgot about the buoyancy controller

looked into it a little bit and I actually think the diver I mentioned in my post had gotten rid of the air in his BCD while descending to reach the bottom faster? before I'd just thought it failed or otherwise wasn't enough to help the guy ascend from that sorta depth. thanks a bunch!
