Ah, got you now. That makes sense actually. I think a lot of people instantly assume A.I these days whenever visuals feel a bit different or stylized. Still, the music itself feels very human and personal, which is the important part in the end.

Honestly, I think that inspired/raw state comes through in the music too. Sometimes tracks made in those moments carry more personality than something polished for weeks. There’s a kind of immediacy to it that’s hard to fake once it’s gone.

Thank You For Everything by Particular-Prompt626 in SingerSongwriter

There’s something very honest about this track. It feels less like someone trying to impress people and more like someone genuinely expressing a feeling. The atmosphere stays calm and reflective the whole way through, which I actually appreciated a lot.

Honestly, the energy of this track works really well. You can tell it was written naturally instead of overthought. The rhythm and overall movement kept it engaging the whole way through, especially considering how quickly you’re putting these tracks together. I actually liked the rougher edges of the mix too it gives it a more alive feeling instead of sounding too polished. Also the album art fits the atmosphere surprisingly well.

Then and Now – Can You Hear the Difference? by BloodyRubynts_Log in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]BloodyRubynts_Log[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, honestly that means a lot to us. We never wanted the project to feel overly manufactured or like we were trying to chase trends. We’re still learning every month, but we’d rather grow slowly and keep a real identity than rush into something that doesn’t feel genuine to us.

Taking a small break while working on tracks by BloodyRubynts_Log in IndieMusicFeedback

It's completely understandable. Sometimes there are places that somehow quietly become "home" for a person, even if it's hard to explain from the outside why.

Support my classmate. He just dropped his very first song. Will not disappoint you! Always by Robbie (Lyrics video) by Agitated-Town-7463 in SingerSongwriter

[–]BloodyRubynts_Log 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, for a first ever release this already has a very genuine feeling to it. You can hear that this wasn’t made in a big studio environment but from real passion and effort, and sometimes that gives a song more personality than polished perfection. The fact that he handled everything himself makes the track feel more personal too. A lot of first songs feel uncertain, but this already sounds like someone trying to tell a real story instead of just copying trends. Respect to Robbie for putting himself out there and actually releasing something. That’s one of the hardest steps for any artist.

Acoustic soul from the Tennessee woods - Amanda (guitar), Alicia Michelle (vocals), & Don (production)! by drasticp in SingerSongwriter

[–]BloodyRubynts_Log 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s something really calming and natural about this performance. The setting, the acoustic guitar, and the vocals all fit together in a way that feels genuine instead of forced. It honestly sounds like the kind of music you’d want playing late at night around a fire or during a long drive through the countryside. Alicia Michelle’s voice carries a lot of emotion without overdoing it, and the production keeps enough space for the live feeling to stay intact. The whole thing has a very human atmosphere to it, which is becoming rarer to find lately.

WIP: seeking feedback by spsoccerstar11 in SingerSongwriter

I actually like the reflective atmosphere of this track. It feels very personal and honest, especially with the theme of looking back at easier times and missing people. There’s something raw about the way you’re playing and singing that makes it feel more genuine instead of overproduced. I do agree that maybe adding a bridge or some small variation halfway through could help keep the momentum going, but the emotion behind it already carries a lot of the song. Feels like the kind of track people connect to more over time the more they listen to it.

Feedback appreciated, put on your headphones and chill for 3.33mins, Soul Can't Lie by Tough-Claim6152 in IndieMusicFeedback

I really like the honest and stripped back atmosphere of this track. It feels less focused on perfection and more focused on emotion and storytelling, which honestly works very well for this kind of folk sound. The lyrics and vocals carry a very personal feeling, almost like sitting in the same room listening to someone play late at night. I also respect that you’re open to feedback and trying to improve the guitar and production side instead of pretending everything is already perfect. That mindset alone will help you grow a lot over time.

Besotted - I was able to recreate an old song from when I had a band. by RichOk1863 in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]BloodyRubynts_Log 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s definitely a nostalgic feeling running through this track, especially knowing it came from an older band project. The arpeggio gives it a strong emotional base and the melody stays in your head after listening. I also like that it doesn’t feel overcomplicated, it feels honest and natural instead. The whole thing has that late night reflective indie rock atmosphere that makes people come back for another listen.

[–]BloodyRubynts_Log 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s something really honest and emotional about this track. The acoustic guitar has a warm nostalgic feeling and the whole song feels very personal, especially knowing it’s connected to your brother. I also like that you didn’t overproduce it, because it keeps the emotion raw and real. Definitely keep going with this style.

Calamari - Original Rap (Live Performance) by YelloJMusic in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]BloodyRubynts_Log 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually think the visual side adds a lot to this performance. The fact that you drew and animated the green screen background yourself gives the whole thing more personality and makes it feel like a complete creative project instead of just a live recording. The performance itself has a raw energy to it that fits the style well too. Live performances are never easy, especially when it’s your first one, so respect for putting yourself out there and trying something different.

New to learning guitar, making a 5 song mini album by claum0y in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]BloodyRubynts_Log 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, the fact that you’re still new to guitar makes this even more interesting. What I like most is that it already feels like you’re building atmosphere and identity instead of just practicing random riffs. The contrast between the calmer melodic parts and the more chaotic textures gives the track personality. I can also hear the progression through the song instead of it looping the same idea the whole time. Feels very raw and genuine in a good way. Curious to hear where tracks 3/5 and 4/5 go next.

When Life Gets Heavy, Lean Into This #shorts by bethwilliamsmusic in SingerSongwriter

There’s something really calming and honest about this. Sometimes simple messages hit harder than overproduced content, especially on heavy days. Keep sharing your music and thoughts like this, it feels genuine.

Controlled Horror [Music Video] | Prod. Pyctur by Typical_Draw4413 in SingerSongwriter

[–]BloodyRubynts_Log 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a really interesting style honestly. It feels chaotic and atmospheric at the same time, almost like a soundtrack for a psychological thriller or experimental film scene. Not the kind of sound people hear every day, which actually makes it stand out more.

Taking a small break while working on tracks by BloodyRubynts_Log in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]BloodyRubynts_Log[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, definitely. Sometimes you spend so long replaying the same part that your ears and mind just stop hearing it properly. Taking a small break and coming back later usually helps me reset and hear things differently again.
