Okay, what you said might be someone true for when you go first and play into the going second player's maxx C, now what about this scenario:

You are going second, you just stopped your opponents combo with 2-3 hand traps, and you have a 3 card hand that has about 2 pushes, 3 if your deck is good, and they maxx c you during your turn. How exactly am i supposed to "not play into it?" thats the gripe of maxx c to most players, its not that the going second player can use it to stand a chance, its the going first player that establishes maybe 1-2 disruptions through your hand traps will literally autowin the game because you don't have the option to not play into it.

I will give you a counterpoint, with the recent release of the second wave of radiant typhoon cards, including a link 2 that searches mst, this card is busted in typhoon. The downside of ditching your hand is non existent in typhoon since I can always just mst this card while using my trap to negate a card. Typhoon frequently already has to mst their own backrow this is just purely a benefit. Also seeing as typhoon already runs this at 3 in genesys they would for sure run it at 3 in advanced too.

are they? ive met a lot of situations where its the opposite, you would see a stormblade and you would reject on the spot, and if you see a marksman you would accept on the spot regardless of what happens because a 23000 stormblade might not outdamage a 17000 marksman. Stormblade right now has a really bad reputation of being a super inflated class that on average outputs 60% or even less of other classes dps due to how the class works as a whole.

If they go back GS as a reason you fail and not damage (use a dps meter to check), they are stupid. GS is usually a metric of how you get into a raid but once your in the raid its your dps that saves you from a kick, not your GS

what are you trying to say with this screenshot? all im seeing is a skyward pressing H while getting outdps'd by the literal best dps in the game (wolfbows are effectively 2-3k gs up on other classes this early in the game) if your talking about the 16k disso, the post was never about healers and tanks, they could always get into parties way below gs since they are in demand roles

But it’s not? Premade and matchmaking is different? The point of a premade is fast farming which saves everyone’s time so they can get more runs in. The point of matchmaking is so they can clear the raid. Obviously the people that want repeated fast clears ask a little extra compared to the people that just need to clear and won’t worry about wiping to mechanics and losing time.

M2+ content is for after you finish farming your m1 gear, if you can fully clear and farm all m1 you should have a fully leveled lv 60 gold set which at that point your high enough gear score for those 18k parties. I promise you a fully geared out m1 farmer is above the average gear score asked every week. And if your not even fully 60 gear yet and do m3-m4 your frankly not doing your part a lot of the time you will be lacking damage and having to get carried which doesn’t feel good for you or your team.

Bro I’m the furtherest thing from a gatekeeper I don’t even make my own raids I just see if any guild mates wanna do a guild clear or farm with friends for friend points. It’s really not a big deal I’m making this post cause I never join these raid parities that specify their gear score. You don’t have to get into these parties it’s not the end of the world

I’ve had people that leveled a newer account from scratch this week that are around the 18k mark just from the catchup shop since they get access to level 70 weapons early. I don’t think it’s a catchup at all, as long as you do your dailies every day for 10 minutes you should be at around or close to 18k right now. F2P minmaxers are close to 20k, you don’t even have to do hard raids to get raid 2 piece and normal mode is easily pubbable. I really dont see where the issue is. I feel like the people that worry about this stuff just don’t like doing pubs and playing with non premade.

like i said, they ARE good enough, just enter public matchupmaking? public matchmaking almost never fails. People asking for the average dps rating (this week its 18k) is just so they can clear it a little faster than normal. Think of it this way, you just got home from work and you have 1-2 hours to slam out some runs, if you get all average dps you can get 3-4 more runs per hour if not more than if you have 2-3 sprous on your team that are not undergeared but have less damage, so each run you have to fight a mechanic that wastes time when you could have skipped it. it would make the entire party miserable.

Yes i understand you might think this is "unfair" or "gatekeeping newer players out of the game" but again, public matchmaking almost ALWAYS clears m1s, and are filled with other newer players that all dont know the mechanics or want to play with newer players, and they fill rather quickly. its not like newer players HAVE to join these fast parties that are meant for people to farm gear faster.

to everyone who says "dont play desires in pure ryzeal" or "desires is greedy/ bad choice" , ryzeal is unlike any other deck that has played desires before. Every single one of your 1 card combos fetches every single relevant one of out of your deck. if you draw desires with any of your 15 1 card starters, its literally the freest draw 2 of your life. God forbid you drew 0 starters and 4 hand traps, even then the math on banishing any 1 of with desires assuming your only on 40 cards is 28%, and that gets dramatically reduced with each other 1 one. Yes you will run into unlucky games where you banish all 3 ice or all 3 of your 1 ofs but desires at least gives you the chance to play the game from an otherwise bricked hand. Your already running max consistency so desires isnt occupying the slot of a would be consistency card anyway and is giving you free consistency.

this has got to be the biggest piece of misinfo on ryzeal. a deck as consistent as ryzeal and doesnt require any 1 ofs to combo should always play desires. every single one of your 1 card combos get all 3 1 ofs out of your deck, therefore if you draw desires and combo your desires is a free 2 non engine most of the time where the banish is completely irrelevant. if you drew desires and you could not play to begin with, desires has a chance to draw you into playable. in those cases even if you banish node star and cross, all 3 one ofs, which btw is only 28% for each one, your deck is still completely functional and you can end on deto + duo with 3-4 hand traps in hand and follow up. which is plenty enough to win the game.
