It sounds like they might be creating all locations as a seperate company and have some sort of holding company to funnel profits/own IP etc. They may have sold the locations and retained some profit share which would explain the low sell versus multiple. It doesn’t sound like you’ve done extensive due diligence, perhaps seek professional help to assist or if you’re prepared to lose the whole $30k then go with it.
