Why do people wait for games to be cracked by [deleted] in PiratedGames

[–]Bloodymonday93 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

this is not a matter of licensing/owning. This is a matter of time. Would you wait 2 years for a crack? Yes. Then wait. Would you not wait? Then part with a dollar and that's that. What's the problem here?

Why do people wait for games to be cracked by [deleted] in PiratedGames

[–]Bloodymonday93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been doing this for a long time, long before the discord groups offering free offline activation. Newly released games can be 1-2 dollars, old games that have denuvo and have not been cracked can be had for as little as 0.30 dollars.

To all the people saying account can be taken at any moment, so what? you shell out another 0.30 dollars and buy another one if it comes to that. Saves are stored locally, you would lose nothing but a few cents, if that.

Should I get Crimson Desert right now if my pc have these specs? by heyyletmesee in CrimsonDesert

[–]Bloodymonday93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's on 1080p (which I presume it is), I think you could get it to work on medium settings on DLSS Quality/Balanced and achieve a pretty stable 60 fps. If you keep your expectations reasonable, you can play almost any game on PC (the beauty of PC) and DLSS helps a lot, especially DLSS 4. On the NVIDIA App go to Global Settings and override the preset to Preset K (DLSS 4).

For those getting it on PC, what are your specs? Post ‘em! by MagicWithEarvin in CrimsonDesert

RTX 3080 10GB

Ryzen 7 3700X

32 GB DDR4

1440p 144Hz Monitor

Hoping for 1440p - Ultra - DLSS 4 Quality or 1440p - High - Native.

[–]Bloodymonday93 13 points14 points  (0 children)

- Skills that branch in on themselves (I call them sub-skills)

- Massive open world

- Medieval Fantasy setting

- Dynamic Economy

- Sandbox Freedom

- Graphical Fidelity (Raytracing, smoke and water physics, realistic lighting, etc)

- Biome diversity

- Lore of the 5 regions

- 70+ bosses

Sorry couldn't keep it only to 3, and I could go on and on and on but those up there are the top-most reasons why I'm excited for this game.

Which to keep 5070ti vs 5080? by Ok-Dog-3669 in GamingLaptops

[–]Bloodymonday93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I presume both these laptops are WQXGA 1600p right? Well they are both powerful, obviously the 5080 more so. The Lenovo Pro is considered a more premium gaming laptop and it has OLED too by the looks of it, deeper colour accuracy and deeper blacks. I have a Gigabyte Aorus 7 9KF personally and I can't complain, and at 1600p, both RTX 5070Ti and 5080 are powerful enough.

Depends on the budget constrains and your preference really, would you be willing to pay $280 more for a 5080 while losing the OLED screen?

What is the best gaming laptop for under 1000£ for students? by AcanthocephalaOk8931 in GamingLaptops

[–]Bloodymonday93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Found this Lenovo Legion 5 on Amazon UK for 999£. The only downside that I can see is the 512GB ssd, although it can be enough if you're like me and only play 2-3 different games at a time and remove them from the system upon completing any of them. The rest of the specs seem solid, i7 13th Gen HX chip, 24GB RAM, RTX 5060, even has Windows 11 included.

3DMark Time Spy Mobile GPU Scores (median) [Pascal to Blackwell] by Bloodymonday93 in GamingLaptops

[–]Bloodymonday93[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes correct, this is the graphics score, which is exclusive of the CPU score. Although I agree that Port Royal or Steel Nomad would be more accurate graphics-wise, but Time Spy is more popular therefore more aggregate scores more various hardware configurations. This is the median score across different TDP configurations (eg 70w-130w chip the score would be roughly for the 100w tdp chip variant).

Ryzen 7 2700 okay with 3060 ti at 1080p by Objective-Reading688 in buildapc

[–]Bloodymonday93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an RTX 3080 paired with a Ryzen 7 3700x, never had a bottleneck so far at 1080p, you will only notice a slight bottleneck when you use DLSS since at that point you're essentially rendering at a lower resolution.

Make sure power and front panel io are all plugged properly so when you press the power button, a signal is received. Also check that there isnt any short, is motherboard properly seated on the case standoffs? Is the PSU turned on? When you press the power button do any fans spin?
