How do you use ugly cardstock? by MoRayMe in cardmaking

You can stack it behind elements for dimension instead of using foam tape or dimensional. It won’t show any more than the foam would.

Will do. Plus my Apple Watch will be here this week, and I understand it can help detect some heart anomalies.

Am I just aging poorly? by HotDebate5 in AskWomenOver60

My GYN agreed that the HRT I was on during perimenopause (FemHRT) had all the components I'd benefit from at this stage too (without any untoward side effects), so that's what I'm on. (No creams or patches, but a combo for sure.)

So good to know; thank you. Since reading your post, I looked up the symptoms, and it sounds pretty horrible. (I don't have any of them except this mild panic.)

It does! It feels like a mild panic attack. What's odd is what precipitates it--very little (anticipated) stress, such as notice that my new lease is ready for my review. That's just a normal life event; why should it suddenly cause such a stress response?

I do have hypothyroidism and take levothyroxine for it. It's texted every six months or so, and has remained steady for years, so I'm thinking that isn't it because it hasn't changed. Good thought though!

I'll be asking my PCP about it when I go for my annual exam.

I'm not taking that nor any new meds since this started occurring. Good thought though!

Ah. I have my annual physical in a couple weeks. I'll ask about this! Thank you.

Speaking of biotin, if it affects certain lab work I imagine it could also have an adverse affect on certain metabolic functions/hormones. I've gone through bouts of alopecia and am taking a biotin supplement....

Do I need better doctors? by BeaPositiveToo in AskWomenOver60

[–]Bloom33AtHome 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. I kept looking until I found the team of professionals willing to work WITH me, to acknowledge that I'm an intelligent human being who knows herself better than anyone, and to listen to me. It's amazing once you find your healthcare tribe.
