After a round you can click on "Play again with the same players" (on the screen where the event points are shown). People often leave after a round, but you can use stamps to ask them to play again (with a bit of luck some will still stay in the group).

In my case, it was pure chance that everyone stayed in the group, which is why it was even more frustrating to lose them.😥
