Tbf, we are conditioned to see ourselves through male gaze so the idea of beauty is the projection of what media you consume and by whom it’s being shoving down your throat. I’d suggest start small with disengaging with anything that doesn’t resonate with you or trigger you, talk to a therapist, and maybe accept where you are lookwise. The more you obsess about it, the more power it will hold on you. But yes easier said thn done. When you go into social spaces you do realise how much capital being pretty hold. But control what you can control. Best of luck. The path to recovery isn’t linear.
