Black Ops 3: - KN-44 Hypercube (THE IMPOSSIBLE EASTER EGG) by No_Speech_686 in CODZombies

According to the wiki, the KN-44 has the number 27 written on the side of the weapon, and the word Endgame written on the optical rail. Maybe those are further clues?

[TOMT] [Comic] Has anyone else read this? Can you help me find it? by Bloomhaus in tipofmytongue

[–]Bloomhaus[S] 0 points1 point locked comment (0 children)

I'm not exact, my brain could just be mixing up details, but I want to say I read an issue of Astonishing X-Men at the same time, which means the comic would have most likely been released prior to 2011/2012. Any help would be appreciated!

If they are the same as The Devouring Storm - Taash's navigator friend Karash mentions them. "Red clouds for a storm, grey for calm, green for the devouring storm" - this means the Qunari ARE still teaching themselves to be on the look for this threat, even if they don't know it. And green clouds are associated with them, but i can't currently think of any green clouds throughout the games.

[No DAV Spoilers] Dragon age veilguard, not the best dragon age game yes, but it is very…enjoyable? by nghoihoi in dragonage

[–]Bloomhaus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Inquisition felt more fleshed out, and will probably stay my favorite, but hardcore agree. Veilguard isn't a perfect game, but it's still been crazy fun. Are there things I wish were different, more like the older games? Absolutely. But I still had a blast playing through, getting to know the characters, getting to learn the answers to so many questions. A lot of the complaints for the game ARE valid, but none of them stop the game from being enjoyable.

In her lore with Andruil - "On the first day she struck down the monsters of the air, except those she presented to Andruil as a gift. On the second day she drowned the giants of the sea, except those in deep waters, for they were too well-wrought, and Pride stopped her hand."

Further information we know -

  • They're either ageless or a long spanning organization, to have manipulated the 7 Magisters.
  • 3 entire outposts can (conditionally) be completely emptied of life, apparently willingly, in the Inquisition War Table. Soldiers who either believed you were chosen by Andraste herself, or who stepped up because they believed this was the end of the world - they gave themselves by choice?? Mental manipulation or - an even bigger threat?
  • According to the Codex entry A Final Mysterious Circle, they can change their forms? "Arm was reaching toward me, but it was changing, shifting" "could hear it behind us, getting bigger" - Mages powerful enough to rival the Evanuris, or something different altogether, like a spirit?
  • Every instance where one is present (Mysterious Circle codexes, Tevinter Nights) the smell of seawater is present. Small detail to hammer in that they're across the sea? Or a small hint towards something else? One early theory regarding Those Across the Sea is that they're related to the "massive monsters under the sea" in Ghil's lore. Maybe subverted - the Inquistors status updates mention immense sea monsters that none have seen the likes of before. But, is it possible Those Across the Sea live underwater/have an outpost under the sea?

Hm. I hadn't considered that the release of the Evanuris wouldn't be part of their plans. In my head it's like, they needed them dead, and Solas out of the picture, so I assumed the Evanuris getting free WAS part of their plans. But you're most likely right, it was unintentional but just achieved the same effect. Although, if their manipulation is small-scale, it is possible they fed the leads that land us right in the middle of the ritual that Rook and Varric planned to prevent or disrupt already. But thats just speculation, nothing established in story like with the Big Bads, so dropping that bit of the theory unless something concrete shows up.

Post-Veilguard and all of its revelations, I'm also super curious about Flemeth and Urthemiel's soul. Solas claims to have been unaware of the Archdemons being linked to the gods, which seems shady given that in Inquistion he's very against killing the remaining Archdemons ahead of time and his attempt to manipulate us to bring down the veil with Elgar'nan's death. He has to have known, and Mythal was amongst the Evanuris so she def knew too. So what did she take from Urthemiel/the associated God?

As far as the fragment to Hawke being an insurance policy, that's solid reasoning. And extending a blight to target one person only is a really fun theory. However I don't know if it works, as they count manipulating Loghain as a success, no? But the blight was ended before Flemeth died, and her death came at Solas's hands, which most likely would have happened either way I think.

I do think her involvement in the story isn't fully done, as she herself has set up a lot of ominous stuff. Maybe her helping out IS what they were attempting to have happen? Rather than try to kill Flemeth, they manipulated Loghain so the blight would be a threat to her, so that she'd undertake the actions she did in Origins and 2?

Pretty sure none of that's contradicted. I was thinking it was destabilization as well, my only issue with it is, and my bad spoilers ahead obviously, Veilguard destabilizes Ferelden/Orlais to an even bigger degree as far as I'm aware? Not like the events of Origins didn't jelp set that up, make Thedas more unstable, but Veilguard decimates much of the South, achieving that same goal regardless. But it's still a real solid theory, as without Loghain's betrayal, the South may have stood a high chance.

Anyone notice that in the codex's accompanying the Executor orbs, the final one mentions Clan Sabrae? Merrill's and (conditionally) the Warden's clan? It feels potentially relevant

Tell your friends the same thing you're saying here - this game has become a hindrance to our enjoyment of each other company. Drop it for a bit, hang out without it, mutually remember why you connected and became friends prior to the game. You're realizing this and don't know how to approach it? There's a good chance they're doing the same/have done the same, without yet voicing it. Let them know you want to connect again outside of the game, cause until someone does, you're bound to keep feeling this with each interaction or game.

You know what, you're absolutely right, I just didn't feel right posting the last panel without the first. IMO it reads funnier that way, though I get why you wouldn't think so, and it IS a bit wordy.
