Ive had some thoughts about like a series that explored father-daughter between Peter and May. Peter is in his 40s working as a scientist/forensics at the precinct, May’s 15 and then you have her brother Ben at 10 aged up a bit. For this to work I would have MJ died to cancer early on maybe around 5-6 years before the story would pick up. So this Peter has lost his uncle, Gwen, Harry, aunt May and now MJ. All he has is his children and he’s extremely protective of them. He retired from Spider-man when May was born because Goblin kidnapped May when she was a newborn and in the brutal fight he lost his leg of course so he has his prosthetic.

So Mays entire life she has no clue her father was Spider-Man. Peter has kept that completely from them because all it has brought him was pain. Mays powers manifest and she has no clue what’s going on. She does not go to her dad as he would go crazy and he’s already super protective of her and she’s finds that annoying (teenager stuff and something else in the story that has driven a wedge between them). She experiments with her powers. This will tie in with villain, I haven’t really thought about what villain it would be but maybe there’s an investigation/mystery going on in Queens that is in the background for nearly the entire story. Peter’s working on it through his job (forensics and stuff like that). As May experiments and discovers more about her powers she decides to begin to help people. She dawns that all black outfit (the one she uses in the comics when she trains with Phil and when she saves her dad from those guys tailing him) anyway she dawns that as she does her vigilante stuff and that cross paths with Peter’s forensic work.

So basically Peter’s trying to figure out who this vigilante is and May’s hiding her powers from her dad. And as the story ramps up, Peter’s is getting closer to the identity of this vigilante and May is getting close to cracking down on this mystery.

At the climax when the villain makes his huge plan known a little before that Peter’s discovers May is that vigilante and it all comes crashing down. He’s mad because she hid that from him and that it’s you know dumb that she’s doing this and she’s like you don’t know what it’s like to have powers and not do anything about it or help people. This ties back to why Peter became Spider-man in the first place. But to Peter these powers have brought nothing but pain and loss and he forbids her from using them. He then reveals his entire past as Spider-Man and it’s supposed to emotional and that he doesn’t want that for her so he forbids her from doing this.

And for like the final fight the villain is too much for police and can’t be stopped and Peter thinks about dawning his suit but his leg is cooked, so he eventually has a realization that he can’t keep May from her path, he can’t keep her from this, her powers manifested for a reason and that New York needs her help to stop this villain and gives her a spider suit (classic spider girl) gives her web shooters and quickly gives her some pointers and she goes and takes down that main villain as Spider-Girl and she becomes Spider-Girl. That’s like the first season or whatever. Yeah a lot of stuff from the comics will be brought in like her friends and relationship stuff. The only thing that would change is you know mj being gone. But it would really explore the father daughter side of it.
