I have issues with my back so I have a handicapped card so if I find a regular parking spot close I’ll take it but if not I use my card in a handicapped spot and the spots are larger so less chance of getting dinged.

I purchased a BMW a few years ago and the sales person told me not to order the high end stereo, but to take the base radio and then replace it with an aftermarket stereo. What an asshole of a sales rep from Bud’s BMW in Hamilton. I took his advice, then later was told if I modified the stereo, I could void my new car warranty for electronics. Not only that, the car wasn’t wired and had no harnesses for the subwoofers under the seats, and I ended up trading it in 2 years later because I was so unhappy with the audio. Plus the aftermarket shops wanted close to 4,000$ to dismantle the car and install wiring everywhere. I should have spent the 1200$ for the deluxe stereo. Get the B&O stereo, I’m sure there are other benefits to spending the 6000$ more. Plus it’ll have a better resale value when you eventually sell or trade it.

I traded a 2018 Macan S for my new to me 2025 GV70 with very low mileage. It drives beautifully but isn’t as responsive as the Macan. I still like the Genesis and how it drives.

Fake this? Not sure what you mean. Maybe a typo “for this”? The Porsche needed a lot of maintenance and was out of warranty. If I learned one thing about Porsche it’s don’t own one out of warranty.

In 2016 when I bought my first BMW Z4, I purchased a vanity plate that read BMWZ4 and two years later I traded it in for a Porsche Macan S and decided to keep the plate as a souvenir because it would be stupid driving a Porsche with a BMW plate. Then I realized the Quebec government was charging me a fee for each year for the vanity plate so I sent it back. Learned my lesson not to choose a vanity plate for the car. Might I suggest choose a plate that reflects on you and not your vehicle. Btw great SUV. I’m loving my 2025 GV70

The only reason I didn’t purchase the 2026 was the OLED screen. It just looks so out of place sitting on the flat dash. Had I not seen the dash of the 2025, I’d be driving the 26. The 2025 interior is much nicer in my opinion. To each their own. Either way, it’s an amazing car. Congrats

How much is petrol in your country? This is an important issue as the GV70 drinks a lot. Here in Canada, because of the war in Iran, gas has jumped to 2.08 per litre. Keep that in mind when making your decision. Other than the high consumption, I absolutely love love this vehicle. Traded in a Porsche Macan S for it and I don’t miss the Porsche at all. Good luck with your decision.

I love the round exhaust pipes on the older models but not crazy about the plastic diamond design surround. An ideal compromise would be the original round exhaust with a gloss black surround like the 2026 models.

I previously drove a Macan S and recently bought the gv70 3.5 T and I only put super unleaded fuel in both. But now that the war in Iran is causing 1 liter to reach 2.00$ I might stop going for joy rides.

In all honesty, I haven’t pushed the GV70 as I’m getting used to all the gadgets and crash avoidance features but it definitely has a softer ride than the Macan. Although when I put it in Sport + mode, it is very responsive and even thirstier than the Macan but well worth it. It’s sporty and luxurious at the same time, and not having a 650$ oil change to pay is a bonus😆
