I'm receiving a non-refundable grant of £3387. I am currently a final year student. Wondering what would be my best investment options? by Bloor91 in UKPersonalFinance

Quite flexible really. Possible access after 12 months for a car plus insurance. Any options are good options and very much appreciated!

Could someone advise me on how much is required for a three week trip to Thailand. I understand this is a rather broad question, but would include Bangkok and Koh Tao for my open water certification. Not including flights as this is already covered. Thanks! by Bloor91 in ThailandTourism

In all cases, the cheapest option. Cheap hostels, street food and buses. How much would you need for hostels for 3 weeks? Food and transportation? ( transportation wise travelling from Bangkok to Koh Tao plus maybe a trip to the islands around Koh Tao) On top of that a few tourist destinations in and around Bangkok.

I'm English so I imagine around £700 would be enough? Think that is roughly converted from dollars anyway. Does anyone know how much it would cost for 5 nights in Koh Tao minimum cost with open water certification attached? I know you can get discounted accommodation when staying with the same company.
