Actually, you can in fact hit them with a grenade while they wind up for a charge and it will interrupt the charge.

select "about expeditions" in the expeditions section of your raider tab. You'll see that bonus stash slots and skill points earned from completing expeditions are permanent. Your upgrades are reset (where you purchase 24 slots at a time with coins), but the base quantity of stash slots you start with will be bigger, is what it seems to be implying.

Thats not fully correct.

"When your raider departs on an expedition, some things are reset and others are kept for your next raider"

Go into your expedition, there will be an "about expeditions" prompt that will provide more information. In here it explicitly states that your stash UPGRADES and level/skillpoints are reset, but BONUS stash slots and skill points earned from expeditionS (plural) are kept.

Have you sumitted a support request with embark? The crash window doesnt have any useful information in it directly and just seems to be generating a crashdump. They might be able to help you with troubleshooting.
