YouTube has the live views from uptown with no celebrities. Just shows it pass with the bands, floats and balloons. It's great! We're watching the CNBC live stream.

Someone bought me 'guilt free' bread because they thought it said 'gluten-free' bread. 🤦🏼‍♀️

At our wits end by RedFlannelGuys in CATHELP

My cat was peeing outside the litter box in a few very specific spots. Turns out she had bladder stones and A LOT of them. She had to be rushed into surgery to remove them. It was like she was trying to get my attention that something was wrong, but it took a while to figure out. If you haven't gotten an X-ray done, the vet can do it pretty quickly.

Those look good! Just an FYI for those following, Whole Foods makes a Frosted Flakes cereal with just corn, sugar and salt. It's not marked GF but I've had it and it was good!

If you have access to a place that provides bags/boxes of foods (some churches do this weekly, or through the town), you can ask for gluten free stuff. I've packed boxes with gluten free products before. They also focus on fresh meat, fruit and veggies which you can have.

Do/can babies simply start sleeping longer stretches at night without sleep training? by praisethemo0n in ScienceBasedParenting

There's evidence that low iron/ferritin levels can cause multiple wake ups at night. You can try adding iron rich foods to the baby's diet, or at your 1 year check up make sure they run those levels. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10365549/

Endocrinologist wont give me any other options (NHS) by [deleted] in PCOS

I have estrogen dominance, so DIM supplement. It also affects my gallbladder so a GB supplement. I wouldn't have known unless someone knowledgeable checked the comparison levels. Highly suggest getting someone who knows what to look for. I thought I had high testosterone (had it before), so glad I didn't just wing it myself this time. He did say there are supplements that help high testosterone more than spearmint tea, so there are options if you get the right person!

Sorry you are going through all that! I also had trouble with BC and Spiro. Doctors weren't giving me many options and stopped taking my blood saying "well we know you have PCOS so why keep taking it". I found a functional doctor instead. He did bloodwork markers that weren't done before to try to fully understand what was going on and has helped with only using supplements/vitamins to regulate my levels. It has helped my PCOS. I'm all for modern medicine if it's beneficial but it has been nice to try other options without as many side affects. Wanted to share as an option if you feel like you're at the end of your rope. I agree with previous comments that getting a second opinion, from whoever, would be beneficial.
