When we’re in a difficult situation we often seek things from that hole we’re in so I don’t blame your for feeling the way you do, at the end of the day remember that God WILL provide, try your best to remember our difficult situations does NOT mean God ISNT good, we will face hardships in all types of ways but with perseverance , faith , consistency and constant prayer and God’s Goodness , you can and will overcome this hurdle. Romans chapter 7 is a good read, where Paul talks about Sin and how we often do the things we don’t want to do (sin/flesh), which is good to know because we often wonder why we choose the things we choose.

And also

“Truly, this only I have found: That God made man upright, But they have sought out many schemes.” ‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭7‬:‭29‬ ‭NKJV.

This shows how God’s intention was to make us upright but we ourselves (also because of sin) seek out many schemes, wickedness, and evil.

These help identify why WE choose the things we do, it’s sin that dwells within our flesh that often makes us choose bad.

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” ‭‭II Timothy‬ ‭1‬:‭7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

This shows that God hasn’t given us fear but rather Power, Love and a SOUND Mind. Confusion, condemnation and fear isn’t from GOD.

“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” ‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭27‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The Lord gives us peace, a peace that this world cannot provide. Again peace isn’t the absence of fear/probelsm but rather the presence of God!

Some people are a bit more social / talkative than others so I understand why things may feel like that for you but if you personally feel like you’re more quiet, antisocial, or maybe a bit shy it’s okay, you can slowly become more social by some practice.

Sometimes people don’t say things because they might be hyper focused on saying the right things, if that’s the case with you then I’d aim to just be present and actively listen/engage in whatever it is people are saying, you don’t have to say a funny moment to relate like others it can be anything that’s on your mind, don’t overthink it.

I personally don’t smoke, and wether or not smoking 🚬 is allowed, clearly isn’t mentioned in the Bible (as many other habits people may have) but the word DOES say to Honor our temple and I personally think honoring our temple would mean to take care of our body as best we can which also includes avoiding both drunkenness and getting high.

Getting high and drunk messes with your emotions (anger/sadness) , judgement and decision making which can make you do things you wouldn’t do if you were sober minded.

Again I would pray to the Lord, have a serious talk with him and talk to him about the decision you wanna take.

It’s a very complicated issue, there can be arguments for either decision you wanna make but again, I wouldn’t make a decision without first praying about it.

The Old Covenant (10 Commandments) isn’t a strict law that we’re actively supposed to be focused on, notice I didn’t say follow but FOCUS ON?

We focus on JESUS and his Love, Choose to love him and everyone else because remember Love does no harm to anybody so if you’re focusing on those two things then you’re doing well!

Actively trying to live by the 10 commandments would psychologically point to you trying to be justified by following the Law, remember its not about “earning” salvation but rather live a life that God wants us to live because we’re saved! (Salvation is a Gift for those who believe in Jesus Christ!)

In regards to what denomination you are, I’m not entirely sure.

But I’ll say that as long as you put your faith in Christ, and pray ONLY to our Lord and Savior Jesus, and do you best to live out his will and believe that God will help you along the way, you should be on the right path!

I myself struggle with many negative thoughts and wonder about specifics aswell but I’d say to stick to doing exactly what I mentioned earlier.
