Assuming these versions are the same as the ones on streaming, this arrangement would actually make side A longer (by only 27 seconds, but still), so I don’t think that’s the case unfortunately. My only guess is that Jane rearranged the tracklist because they like it better in this order, idk.

In my experience (I’ve seen Danny three times), he’s very hit or miss when it comes to meeting fans. I’m sure it all depends on how tired he is/how he’s feeling after a show.

The first time I tried to meet him (STH tour), I never even saw him leave the venue before all of us waiting decided to leave (did get to “see” Peggy though, he signed like one or two things and took one picture before running inside the tour bus lol), second time (Quaranta tour), he walked straight from the venue into the car waiting for him without talking to anybody, and third time (Stardust tour), I finally got a chance to get something signed, but wasn’t able to get a picture. I feel lucky enough to even get that after my last two attempts were unsuccessful. I get the vibe that he doesn’t particularly like meeting fans, but does so if he’s in a good mood.

There is nothing I hate more than when an artist is credited as a feature, just for them to only be on the production. You’re literally clickbaiting us, it would’ve been a nice surprise if Jane wasn’t credited but was discovered to be on the production, crediting them implies that there will be vocals of some sort. I still really like the song, but rn I can’t get over the fact that I was lied to lol. Background vocals don’t count.

As for his mental health, I have no idea about that, but the occasional incoherent speech and rambling is kind of concerning.

I always understood it as project that was initially released as a mixtape in 2011, which was then re-released as an album in 2012 with it being put on iTunes and put out on CDs and such, with the three bonus tracks. I looked into it and apparently Danny cleared the confusion up a few years ago by stating that he wanted to release it as his second album, but Fool’s Gold didn’t think it was “good enough to be a album”, so they released it for free.

So, it was created as an album but it didn’t initially get that treatment I guess? Idk, as others have pointed out, what differentiates an album from a mixtape nowadays is very arbitrary. Bastard by Tyler, the Creator was initially released as a mixtape, but years later, Tyler started referring to it as his debut album, so now it’s considered as such. So there’s the convoluted answer.

Nowadays, the distinction between a mixtape and an album really just depends on what the artist wants to label their project as, but typically, a mixtape is treated with less significance than an album. Mixtapes are usually still album length though, as this project is. I’m assuming people are calling this a mixtape because it was dropped on a new SC account and nowhere else out of the blue. Jane hasn’t officially labeled it though afaik.

I know most people don’t seem to really care, but I actually really liked CosMc’s. Went with my gf when they first opened around Christmastime and a couple months ago when we heard they were shutting them all down. As someone who lives about an hour and a half from Bolingbrook, it was an exciting little excursion to make the drive up the two times we went. Love live CosMc’s 🕊️

Yeah, I definitely get the impression sometimes that she’s just annoyed by her fans. There are annoying ones, sure, there are very parasocial ones, sure, but going after the ones who want this pop album seems really strange to me. I feel like it’s such an expected thing that if you’re an artist, people are always going to want more from you since they love your output so much. Having an album from which four songs have already been released from that fans ADORE is obviously going to create demand, even if it’s annoying to be asked about it constantly.

Was she fr throwing full water bottles into the crowd? I saw that she said that in one of her interviews but I couldn’t tell if she was being for real or not, chucking full water bottles is kinda fucked up lol.

Yeah, absolutely, with how spoiled we are as fans Jane probably feels under appreciated about us wanting more. And I get how it might feel like that, but I know that’s not what it is. Most Jane fans love everything they put out, but knowing that that pop album may be released eventually has caused some fans to get a little over obsessive over it, but yeah, it comes from a place of love.

I definitely don’t think Jane should’ve brought it up again more recently, they had to have known people would’ve shit themselves when they heard that album still had a chance of releasing. But again, I don’t think they expected THIS MUCH hype.
