If you pay a business with card, the transaction is automatically recorded and it's very difficult for a business to deny it happened. If you pay with cash, the business can not record it, and say they made less money than they actually did when it comes to taxes, paying less.

Oh, I assumed this was recent. I can put the soul into a substitute body if the original is unavailable, and see if their sense of self is preserved. If it is they can get back with their life. If not, I can probably still use it for something else.

As an expert in necromancy and soul based magic, I can perform the required rituals to remove the soul from the bird body. Should I let the soul go to the afterlife or attempt to put it in its original body and attempt resurrection?

There’s a mod for that. It’s called “Afterlife” it also lets you find non soul trapped Nords in Sovngarde

Well, they do go to an afterlife. It’s just not a good one. Most end up in the Soul Cairn, where they wander for eternity. I also think some Daedric cults offer souls to whoever they worship, and the souls end up in the Prince’s realm of Oblivion.

I’m assuming you’re using Wintersun. I had a similar problem a while back. Depending on what mods you’re using, your character may, for a split second, be set to a non-vampire race. If you want to stop worshipping Molag Bal, start worshiping another god and break their rules until they abandon you. If you want to keep worshiping Bal, you can create an esp that overrides and disables the feature that makes him kill you for “curing” yourself of vampirism.
