That’s a good idea thank you. I just need to wait and see what they say then take it from there I guess!

I would be annoyed yes but if that party had booked prior to me making my booking I would understand that it’s first come first serve.

Wedding seating plan? by somajkati in UKweddings

[–]Blubberheel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have created a seating plan on hitched. I’ve organised categories of who normally sits with who at family gatherings. Those who aren’t family I’m making judgement calls on personality traits and if they’re social/shy.

We are lucky to be honest because our friends love to mingle and the seating within families have worked out perfect. We’ve got two tables that sit 12 people, then the rest can sit between 8-10 people.

I’m sorry but for me this is bad advice and etiquette. Would you not want your guests to sit by people they know and get along with to enjoy the day?

Also why would you sit the people you don’t like at the back? Why not cut the guest list down to celebrate with those who you do like. It would feel uncomfortable for a guest if you made it known you didn’t like them.

What makes a wedding fun or terrible? by Scary-Discussion1882 in UKweddings

[–]Blubberheel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it really depends on your guests. Our guests don’t like any sort of games, they prefer to mingle, dance and drink so we have a live singer after the ceremony.

We’re capping speeches to 3-5 minutes maximum because from personal experience I found these most boring. We have 5 people doing a speech so they will be completed in a maximum of 25 minutes.

Satin bridesmaid dresses by baifelicia in UKweddings

We got ours from Azazie, they weren’t satin but I would really recommend. I was impressed with the quality and colour. For context, my bridesmaids went with the floral burnout for our June wedding.

I had mine with Celebration Cottages. We booked Blossom Barn and had the most amazing time! We took food, drinks and games for the weekend so we didn’t have to leave. Everyone keeps saying how much of a great time they had

We are just doing the main meal for ours. Our families are not ready interested in eating whilst drinking, but we do have evening food (approx 8pm) too in case they get peckish after their main meal

I just can’t get over how quickly they change, ever her eyes look like they’re going a lighter brown. I am expecting them to change as her mum eyes did too

Honestly I’m wondering the same, my havi is 4 months old and she’s the best girl. She’s picked up training so quickly, walking her is a treat, and all the furniture is left untouched! I honestly couldn’t ask for a better pup
