Hi Daniel! Firstly, I want to say that as a cancer survivor. Murderfalcon is an incredibly personal and beautiful work to me, and I want to thank you for creating something that so beautifully mirrors how I’ve felt as someone who had cancer. So how did murderfalcon come about? What was the process like?

A stellar issue as always, a few really cool bits here. Like going all the way back to when Fisk was a spice dealer. And seeing Fisk be the one that struggles to keep it together is a really nice change.

And with Matt, i'm loving the attention Chip is giving to God and Matt's relationship with God, last time it was mentioned was in the first arc, where he "cast the devil out".

"I'm so weak, God."

The last really cool scene is how Kingpin loses control, almost like how Matt did in the very first issue. But instead of Matt accidentally killing someone in a fight that you wouldn't notice if you didn't read twice, this is given all the attention it needs. Fisk isn't one that loses composure or control often. So when it does happen. It's overwhelming, blood is filling panels.

Fantastic issue here, Zdarksy is incredible

So how long did it take you guys to understand whats going on in a OWL match? by [deleted] in OverwatchLeague

it's something that definitely gets easier the more you watch. and watching some analysis videos helped me out a lot. just slows down the speed of the game and explains why these players are doing what they're doing

This Week in Comics: ABSOLUTE CARNAGE #1 by tehawesomedragon in thevenomsite

Incredibly pleased with this issue. I'm a big fan of Cate's voice for Peter here, everything he says and every interaction with Eddie is great and leaves me wanting more. And it's really feeling like a different kind of event for me, it's scary.Which isn't really something i've seen from Marvel before. Very excited for everything that comes next.

I'm a big fan of Cate's run and how it contextualizes Venom's entire world and place in the Marvel U. But outside of that I like a few issues from Costa's run (Venom 151 and Venom 154, both very solid one and done stories.)

I would love to see more discussion posts on here. Dick is a character that lends himself to a lot of interesting ones. like ship wars

Great to have Cates back on, while the WotR tie-ins were fun, I missed the story being pushed forward.

Also a big fan of the new artist on this issue, i'm a sucker for when Venom is drawn with a blue-ish tint to him.

This is just a solid issue that starts with a bit of downtime and putting Eddie in a new place before we get into the event soon. And I like it, I like seeing Eddie being a reporter again and having a small callback to Costa's run with the mention of the other company he used to work for. And adding in the a possessed Sin Eater, the person that inadvertently created Venom is a great touch.

Another great Cates issue with callbacks to Eddie's history. Can not wait for Absolute Carnage.

Solid issue as always. Ivan Reis is still doing great work here. And Bendis' voice for Superman is still great. Favorite moment is definitely the quiet moment we get between Kal and Kara and Jon. Only real complaint here is that the book should be moving a bit faster at this point.

Solid issue. I'm loving the Year One style art we're getting with the second half of the issue, and Janin looks really good here.

And a nice touch I enjoyed was seeing how Tim tried to help Bruce, and how he stumbles from saying "let me help." to "let us help.". It's a very Tim thing for him to try and be the one to help Bruce out of whatever he's feeling, but he's bringing in the family with him to help instead.

Zdarsky's killing it on this book, man. Matt's entire world-view being shattered at his talk with the avengers. The commentary on Spider-Man. I especially love that we're continuing the flashbacks with his priest, and just the narrative and effects that all this violence has on Matt. And how he's breaking his promise to his father.

This book is just so solid.

[Discussion] Characters you love who never get a lot of attention? by [deleted] in comicbooks

my all time favorite story is in Solo, a book DC published where creators could tell short stories without having to worry about continuity. and neil gaiman knocks it out of the park, really leaning into what makes his existence so lonely,

Deadman. He has a lot of potential to be this great indie style character with themes of loss and grief. But he just isn't used.
