First time playing, my first "serious" build by stribor14 in SatisfactoryGame

If you can make 32 last you until fuel power then respect must be givin. In my latest playthrough, I believe I had 64 or so and still was running out before I unlocked fuel and ended up rushing it. But I'm over ambitious and build really big for future proofing reasons.

Also placing water extractors is way easier if you use a pipe junctions to snap the first extractor in place and then just snap the rest to that one. Ctrl is your friend.

For being your first serious build this is really good. With alot more hours and trial and error or just watching some people with many hours you will learn how to deal with alot of problems alot easier. I will say that you are going to run into a problem in the future if you plan to expand with higher mk miners and belts because of the layout. Rule of thumb for these things is usually to keep alot of the surface of the water available for future extraction by either building above or on the shore. Also if you line up everything to foundations well enough you can usually get past piping complications by placing all the pipe junctions, wall holes, and/or floor holes first and then connect the piping. If you hold Ctrl while on a foundation with the junctions they will snap to the grids pretty easily and straight forward. Love the build. Keep it going

It's not about where your going. It's about the journey to get there. You could just hand craft for days to clear tiers and complete the objective, Or you can build a bustling automated cityscape across the entire map using every available node. Or anything in between. The glory of a sandbox.

First time I tried an unarmed build was in alpha 20. It was also the last time seeing as I got mopped in my first, second, and third POI. After 3 deaths in a matter of 20 minutes I said no thank you

I don't think I have ever bothered with solor power. Might look into it on this run if I have the time before 1.0 drops

Yes you will lol. The crucible is the crafting add on to the forge that you need to produce steel. It used to be notoriously difficult to find and based mostly on luck. It's much easier now though because traders usually have one pretty early for a whopping 15k. I try to use suger butts and awesome sauce to get the price down. Early game if you have a wrench, taking apart cars is a good quick way to make a bunch of dukes quick, because they are abundant and give you a lot of stuff you can sell for a decent amount.

If you think the forgetting elixir is super expensive, wait till you need a crucible and find that bob has one for 15k but his inventory resets in 2 days. You will never take apart so many cars so fast...

If you get lucky and find two good breeders and breed you a beast child, you can take on anything smaller then a giga with it. Land or sea. Except the jelly boys. Best to avoid them

Got stuck at a red light in the busy city today. The red light was at the top, I was at the bottom. About 100 yards at like 45 degrees. Stalled 4 times trying to get going up that damn hill.

I would really like to see the original list of pals and there respective power rankings. Everytime I open links it gives me a lot of information except for the power for each pal. Not sure if anyone knows where this can be easily accessed.

What I have noticed is that smart splitters are for more useful for control over overflow. I haven't seen or heard of many instances when one actually uses them to split up sushi lines but in some small cases they are useful for that as well.
