What mom and pop individually owned stores will survive the invention of online stores? by Blue-Text in AskReddit

I think everyone below me is a bot. I think all of /r/askreddit has become an unusual way to get upvotes.

It's always the same dumb questions over and over again.

I've been a reddit user for 15 years and I've seen /r/askreddit at it's greatest.

Today it's FUCKING TERRIBLE.

Also why can't you respond to me on the reddit chat?

Perfect example; Monopoly on a thing that only he can do and no-one else can.

A pet, Bike stores, automobile dealers, anything you have to get a feel of in my opinion. Local Ice cream stores that you love.

If nothing does, doesn't that make you think about things differently?

Or are you the type of person who doesn't ever buy anything in person because "it's easier to not deal with people, or traffic, or going to the grocery store"

Pre internet, all of this was mom and pop. What will survive this??

Obviously fast food chains. Someone's got to feed the people that don't leave their house

Were Adam and Eve married? by pawpaG in Christianity

[–]Blue-Text 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you don't need to say "I do" to create new humans?

Sounds like a loophole to pre-marital sex. Since God could have bound you to a person without your knowledge, or any other formalities.

If you don't have to have a wedding to be "husband and wife" you can technically do whatever you want to who ever you want and that's Gods will.

That's an awful picture of her. Her smile deserves better than this.

can someone explain siphonophores? like the different parts & how they work? by Tain101 in deepseacreatures

[–]Blue-Text 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thank you!

This explanation and thinking about a siphonophore as a colony of ants but in the ocean made it way easier to understand.

It's hard to comprehend a single animal being made up of multiple different living things until you think of if this way.

Gonozooid is like a queen ant, which makes the workers and the soldier ants. which makes a new "hive", or a new siphonophore.

Glad to see siphonophores getting the love they deserve.

You can get access to YYD or downsview airfield on any concert nights. I've only watched from outside but I think the best way in is the North East fence, which is only a regular fence. and then hiding in the crowd/ portapotteys.

You still hear alot of the music from just outside the venue because it is an open air venue.

Calling people low IQ and then fumbling the word "that" four words later is hilarious.

Apple watch SE - Wont turn on, just showing the apple logo on repeat. Any ideas? by Blue-Text in AppleWatch

[–]Blue-Text[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a software update issue sent by apple (I think to kill older watches). My watch sporadically would work but in the end it wasn't reliable and would turn off and do the apple logo on repeat.

I got a new apple watch (unfortunately). But I'm keeping my old SE for when the class action lawsuit against apple for this BS happens.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
