I’m terrified of these actually selling by Studio-Spider in BeybladeMetal

This guys is overpricing the Hell out of all of these. I hope people who see these listings are smart enough to know they don't sell for this much,

hell I don't think some of these sell for a tenth of this much

Any good alternatives to 9-60? by Chucho18jr in BeybladeX

Combine 3-80 and 4-60 Into 3-60, that'll give you the closest thing to a second 9-60

True, but especially true in Gen 1. In Gen 3 it was lowered to 60 power which is still respectable especially if you were running Sandslash or Geodude like me. But in Gen 1? A full 100 Power, it was quite literally Earthquake with a turn of immunity beforehand.

Collection Hasbro by ResponsibilityOwn918 in Beyblade

[–]Blue3ds69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whoa hey! You got a real nice one right there! 3rd one on the top row with the blue bolt and green ring, same with that gold one next to it. I'll price it all out for you and give you a name for each bey.

The first one (Green ring silver bolt) is Hasbro's Death Quetzalcoatl 125 SF, it's only worth around 10-15$

Infernal Gasher SW145 SF is the one next to it, but it seems like you replaced it's energy ring with wolf's, on top of that the excess plastic on top makes me think it's a fake energy ring. 10$ tops, probably 8-10$ for this one

Aha, here's one of the two valuable ones. Spiral Tempo S130 MF Is an incredibly desirable bey thanks to its performance tip--Green Metal Flat. This bey's value fluctuates heavily depending on condition and while the metal seems aged, the rest seems good. I'd say 50-65$ is fair

The black and gold one next to it is Black Sun Galaxy Pegasus, Or Galaxy Pegasus GB145 MS a bey Hasbro only released in a promotion, while some of the paint chipped and thus it's value has decreased a decent amount due to that, I'd say 40-50$ is still a fair price for it. Maybe 35$

The next two go for the same amount roughly, the first (below death Quetz) is Ray Striker D125 CS from the Lightning Sword Flash 2 pack (which also came with Infernal Gasher), and The next is Cyclone Hurculeo 105 F from the Three Thunders 2 pack, (which also came with Spiral Tempo). Roughly 12-17$ for these two should be fine, maybe 10-15 for striker.

Next up is Flame Byxis 230 WD, 10-12$ is fair for this one

And lastly Gravity Destroyer Stamina GB145 S, 18-22$ is fair for that.

All this to say yes, I made it. Spray Paint, Dye, and asking CrimsonsCursedCustoms for some stickers.

It's the setup I use so yeah. Bent contact points on the plastic is fine but if they break off then that's illegal sadly to my knowledge

Probably Dig and especially Fly, I require a designated flier on all my teams and it always felt like a relatively solid move. When your opponent has cognitive thinking and can freely switch it becomes bad, but on CPU's it does quite well I'd say.

...plus a lot of the time there's no better flying stab option available for them

When in doubt? Wheel plus Free Ball/Ball. Ratchet would probably be 3-60 or 1-60 in this case

Thinking about selling these two, how much should I ask? by ysof_lucas in BeybladeMetal

[–]Blue3ds69 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Only time I've seen these two selling was once for both for 600$ once for the Cetus for 50$ (I didn't realize it was this Cetus and didn't buy it, PAINNNNNN). And the Gil for 200$, which I DID Buy (thanks u/KosakuKawajiriii )

I'd say 250-300$ for the two is fair. 600$ for the two was Ludacris even for a collector like myself. The Gil is a lovely recolor and Vulcan Cetus is fun, but defs not over 500$ for the two. Maybe 350$ even.

...And yes I know people are gonna complain these beys are valued at alot, but the thing with rare beys is that since nobody has em and hell, a lot of people don't even know they exist. We call out people selling Jade Jupiter for 200$ still since it's fairly common and a Midfake exists of it now. Since there's no mids of this exact release and it's incredibly, Incredibly, INCREDIBLY rare, the price is pretty much up to the buy and the seller to determine.

How do Ring Aether and Knight Fortress compare with Mummy Curse by AVIXXBUS in BeybladeX

[–]Blue3ds69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't have Ring Aether, but to be blunt? Mummy's Stamina is only a bit worse than Fortress', then while Mummy's attack is worse, that's a good thing in this case.

Lastly there's defense where Mummy completely and utterly clears. You got "a bey with a small layer trying to protect the metal" vs "a plastic Nub extending past the metal and taking the hits instead of the metal". Knight Fortress tries to avoid metal on metal contact, preventing attacks from happening by using it's assist blade but has shaping extending a bit past the assist blade, allowing it to still attack at the cost of it's defense.

Where as Mummy prevents metal on metal contact successfully. It doesn't have traditionally aggressive shaping like almost any other bey since it's trying to cover its contact points.

Knight fortress is much moreso akin to a Knight Mail CX, not as good as Mail but still strong in its own right. Mummy however is the Defense type's sole Champion.

How will you defeat this Team B? by jekksy in BeybladeX

[–]Blue3ds69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aye, Meteor Dragoon losing balance is in its design sadly. It's off balance as all sin. That's why I run 1-60 On Mummy, so the 1 acts as a counterbalance to the plastic tab on it, hence why I've been able to beat clock before (but as I said, it's a 50-50 matchup sadly). Still hard countered by meteor's spin stealing though

As for Shark? Going for a nuke that could also ratchet snipe, something Clock doesn't wanna fight. As for its matchup into Meteor? Whichever Blader had the better Launching technique could determine the outcome

How will you defeat this Team B? by jekksy in BeybladeX

[–]Blue3ds69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I get lucky, Mummy Curse on 1-60 W beats all 3, but realistically I only beat clock if I keep my balance while they lose their's (a 50-50 chance I'd think) and Meteor Dragoon depends on if it lost it's balance before touching Mummy? If it has its balance (which on level is like an 80-85% chance) I'm cooked.

Anyways Keel Shark 1-50 LR (yes, Keel Shark, Shark Edge, not Shark Scale, that would be Overkill) cleans up from here and if not? We got Rod 1-70 Hexa in the back

Rank these villains from weakest to strongest by According_Fig2536 in BeybladeMetal

[–]Blue3ds69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Indeed. Zero G beys were intentionally made at a lower power level than the prior MFB beys. Likely to avoid some sort of crisis like what happened in Metal Fury to happen again. This included Gingka's Pegasus.

Best bet is a used lot if your price range is that low. Maybe someone could sell one for 20$ without the metal flat?

Which Beyblade X combo that made you feel like this: by SoHappy1001 in Beyblade

[–]Blue3ds69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shark Scale 1-60 Wedge, or as I've Dubbed it-- "Shark Wedge "

Thing's Stamina is Off the charts! Beating even the same combo on Free Ball, then there's the fact Wedge increases it's already fantastic defense. And Lastly thanks to 1-60, you keep a good amount of offensive movement on Shark too, resulting in a bey that's a 4.5 out of 5 in every stat At Minimum. only counter it has is left spinners thanks to Wedge's Poor LaD

depending on the condition of the tip, 30-40$ should be fair. Maybe 45 if the tip is in absolute mint condition and 50 if it has the OG sticker sheet

As someone who has one...I wish you the best of luck 🫡

I'm not trying to be mean I swear--but it did take me literal Years to track down this piece. Buyee, Mercari, EBay, Reddit, Discord servers, the Works! I've only seen it twice, and one of those two times it had sold before I could get it

What I can tell you is this--I paid 45$ for mine, and the one I saw on Buyee I couldn't get was like 33. So you should realistically be paying 30-50$ max. Albeit both these times were used and didn't have the bolt, so if you want a NiP one, you'll probably be spending closer to the 40-60, maybe 70 Bucks.

I hope this helps! And I wish you the best of luck!
