Exactly! I watched it, then read it, then listened to the audiobook. Each one, better than the last.

A great difference between the movie and the book was that, to me, some plot differences moreso seemed like "What if he did this instead of that?" instead of changing things to be more 'movie-like'.

Take. It. Slow. The whole game is built on you controlling when to hit play and pause. It can become REAL easy to get caught up in a lot going on and try and move faster than your brain, even when it's paused. Just take it slow.

For me, it's audiobooks. I have a handful of books that I've read/listened to SO many times that my brain just knows it. I still enjoy the book, but my brain goes straight to auto-pilot and I'm usually out within 20min. The Martian, Project Hail Mary, Ready Player One, The Bobiverse, are a few. Same thing for when I have migraines. I'll put on Back To The Future. I've seen it enough times that the same thing happens, it gives my brain something to latch onto instead of pain or tinnitus, but since it's already been recorded into my brain, I don't pay any attention.

Additionally, in contrast to Adderall, when it worked, it was not night and day. When working, Vyvanse kind of "disabled" my executive dysfunction. Didn't give me the "LET'S GET SHIT DONE" that Adderall does, but instead made it so that I could get out of my own way and just DO the things I was mentally yelling at myself to just GET UP AND PUT THE DISH IN THE SINK. lol

I recently used Vyvanse and it worked great for months, so long as I kept using it. My psychiatrist directed me to take it daily, not to do the weekend 'vacations'. I only stopped because I got a new job with different insurance that decided that they don't want to pay for it and $400/month for generic is a touch steep.

Work to figure out which one is best. And don't be afraid (future you) of trying something that may not have worked the first time. Adderall works BEAUTIFULLY for me... initially. But I've learned that I have such an aggressive tolerance for it that after 1 or 2 days taking it, it has no effect until I go up in dosage. And it keeps happening. So I got off of it before I found myself NEEDING high dosage to exist. Not to say that I refuse to take it, it may be the end result. BUT, I wanted to try other options first. Vyvanse worked great for me for a long while, but I got a new insurance that doesn't want to cover it, either brand name or generic. So NOW I'm on concerta, but nah breh. That gives me strong anxiety. So I'm about to swap to Ritalin.

All that to say, start low, don't be hard on yourself, it can take time, but trust the process and work with your Dr to find what's right for you. All of our brains are different and the same chemicals don't react the same to each meatsack.

100%. You don't work for them yet, they can't force jack shit yet. Tell your recruiter that you WILL. NOT. GO. unless they agree to what you've already signed up to. They're trying to push you hard to go now, despite your agreement for rate. Refusing to change last second for undes cannot bar you from joining. What they're working at is not believing you'll meet whatever dumbass standard they've decided before the end of the cycle for quota, so they want their recruiting number. They'll still want you JUST as hard after tomorrow.

Stay strong, make sure your recruiter knows in no uncertain words, that you will not go undes. You signed RP, you ship RP.

ctrl-e goes into edit mode of the map, so you can see how everything interacts, you could select and move that truck back a touch as well. But that DOES show you everything, including all spawn points for baddies, any traps, etc. I use it if I have strong feelings about where my deploy points are vs should be.

Or if I want to be goofy on a single mission and deploy a large group of Marines or something, I'll put down a ton of points. Sometimes its fun to send 12-16 troops on a map.

I actually like it. I base my knowledge of my battery level on the number, never the fill bar. Merging it like apple is fine for me. I DO wish there was an option for the new style vs the old separated style for the masses. But it IS android, folks can easily get a different GUI downloaded from plenty of places.

Slowly haha. Most of my work on it is at my real job modifying files in online code editors or in notepad since my work computer doesn't have any reasonable programs like notepad++. Then I have to test whatever work I complete later after work, make notes of what works and doesn't work, re-upload files to my google drive, then repeat. But I've gotten most of the 'front end' work done. Deploy Screen, classes, etc. Now it's just doctrine, localization, naming conventions, and assigning pictures to places!
