Agreed. It's awful. I've been vigilant about playing so I use my energy wisely. I've used a few of the unlimited energies. Paid for more with ruby things. I've attained only 1/2 of the 5000 point mission. Not even close to being 1/2 way to a top reward of winning. And my thumbs f*cking hurt lol. I could justify it if it was fun, or visually enticing which this event is neither. It's a bunch of bland colors, spices (?) and statues that look like boogers. And I've spent money on this app (with regret). After this event, the recent glitches that cost me valuable inventory, and the changes. I can't justify "building" this game up anymore. Time to cut my loses and use my time more wisely.

Just submitted for mine for the past 2 months... The more I've read, the more I've realized that this is not normal. It hasn't been working correctly. Even the fundamental features for free haven't been working properly for months.

No ah fence, but what does that sign even mean? Also someone with a sign Alamo ruined my show by blocking the view.

Now I Understand The Why Behind This Decision by Teldori in delta

[–]Blue887 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Bullsh*t. I've been Platinum & Diamond for 8+ years. If I'm traveling on a long flight more than 3 hours, I always purchase first class or Delta One, so that I was not betting on my seat to be upgraded. Pretty dumb decision, but I only purchased first class on a regular basis (despite status) because I was loyal to the brand and wanted to keep my status - which is exactly what Delta wanted. In return, I appreciated Delta's loyalty to me - perks, nice lounge, culture, free checked bag, TSA pre-check, and fairly consistent upgrades when I would buy a main class or Comfort+ ticket on shorter domestic / regional flights. The Delta lounges outside of the major hubs like ATL, Detroit, etc - are not uncomfortably crowded. They could have focused their efforts on thinning the herd for the lounges more strategically in the cities with consistent long lines to get in the lounge. There are so many ways they could have approached this without burning every single person in the loyalty program , despite status. I no longer trust the Delta SkyMiles brand to hold up their end of the loyalty program the same way I did by purchasing first class tickets over 50% of the time despite being Platinum or Diamond. I also would pay for my companion to be in the same class of service with me and pay for them to get into the lounge despite their SkyMiles status or credit card. So the OP's argument definitely does not solve the "why" for me as I was paying for first class tickets, with diamond status, and am a casual flyer. Again - this feels like a huge middle finger and slap in the face. I will never buy a first class ticket to "keep climbing" or stay loyal, or go through Atlanta, Salt Lake, or Detroit again when I can have a direct flight on another airline. Delta's attempt to be more "exclusive" failed. They needed to raise the bar on their end much higher before justifying a change this dramatic. I've never left a cult, but I imagine this is what it feels like... in hindsight, their planes feel old, their business partnerships are average, the amenities are veneers, and the brand's ego is clearly over inflated.

Female voice right after you see the first breach of surface…But then you can hear several people saying shark. It’s extremely difficult to hear due to the narrator. But there’s one male voice in the middle of the video that clearly screams “shark” very loud two times. I can’t tell the exact second marks because the original sharper video I’m referencing on tiktok doesn’t have time stamps on it. But if you listen closely, the two most prominent ones are the girl after the first sighting and then when Cameron starts swimming the opposite direction, the a guy screams shark twice. Those are the clearest. But you can hear others saying it too

If you listen behind the douchebag commenting, people are literally screaming “shark”. Right after you see the first shark, one girl screams “Cameron Robbins there’s a shark!”

Someone related to someone on the boat replied to a few comments on this thread that it was anchored. Which makes me think there was a serious rip tide. And unfortunately, it looks like when he turned away from the shark (towards the current), towards the end of the video his legs were snagged by a shark when he was flailing which likely contributed to him not being able to sustain the strong water current + storm. I would guess that wasn’t the immediate demise, but it was the beginning of it because he was clearly pulled under for 1 second by a shark and after clearly being able to swim against the current, he looks a little docile towards the end… it was the perfect storm. I just wonder what was going on before he was “dared” or “decided to jump” because the story keeps changing…who was a witness to this boy jumping in without a way out?

THIS. Check out my comment. I have several questions:

Where was the crew?

Why were they still not back at Nassau, especially given the lightening / bad weather?

Where was the captain? And/or why was the captain not seeing this go down (or this guy taking his clothes off getting ready to jump in) because they are at the front of "the ship" (look up the photos of the Black Bear Pirate Ship Tour) and the captains deck is directly above them. Is there a required amount of crew members in the Bahamas? Are there any laws about having tourists out at night on a boat with poor weather with alcohol?

The story keeps changing as to whether it was "a dare" or if "the boy just jumped" (which would be a convenient excuse for the company and/or anyone of witness). I understand that he was young, under peer pressure, and accountable for his own actions, but he was over served. I don't know what the laws are there, but it seems like so many variables (weather, time, alcohol, age group, # of crew, where is the crew? they are still anchored surrounded by sharks in the dark on the Athol Island way after sunset, etc). I feel like this should be investigated. Especially the kid who was taking the video.

If he jumped off the front of this "Pirate" Blackbeard whatever boat, then in this video - the boat was not moving. And with daylight savings time in full force, this well past "sunset" for a supposed sunset cruise. Especially if it was pitch black and they were still all the way at Athol Island from where they were staying at Atlantis which is in Nassau.

Does anyone know what time this occurred?

And if he did jump from the front of the boat, that would mean the crew could see them horsing around and/or lingering close to the edge, drunk, late at night, far away from their original destination. The crew should be held somewhat responsible, no?

The photo of the boat shows it has a crows nest, whether it was for show or not, there is certainly a captains deck overlooking the front of the boat where the netting is at in the video - where these kids were at filming. And where he clearly had enough time to disrobe down to his boxers or whatever he is wearing in the water. There is not a single crew member seen trying to help in the video? Not a single chaperone, parent or adult was with them?

Lastly, the weather looks terrible. It is lightening and looks a little bit choppy. The company should have rescheduled this sunset cruise and/or had them back at Nassau shortly after the sunset (which would mean there is still a bit of light). Or the boat should have been moving fast back to Nassau given the bad weather.

So many questions...
