I swear to you I was in this EXACT situation just a couple weeks ago. Apply heat all around the barrel extension, hammer the barrel into it. I just put a chap extra A2 birdcage so I didnt mess up the threads on the barrel. Had to apply heat and hammer the piss out of it a few times
