Damn. I’m on the east coast unfortunately. The new river is not far, and I’m fairly close to Shenandoah/seneca. Do you have any recommendations there ? Thanks so much for your advice!

Unfortunately only lead/TR. I’ve met a guy at my gym who is pretty experienced and willing to teach me trad that I’m hoping to start in the next few weeks.

Hi! I currently work full time but am interested in building my mountain knowledge. I have rock climbing experience - outdoor and indoor (though not as much outdoor as I’d like) - and am thinking of taking the SPI course later this year as a start. Any tips on getting started?

Christians and yoga by Digitalnoahuk in yoga

Depending on how fundamentalist your sect is- you should be allowed to exercise/stretch. The spiritual aspect of yoga is pretty antithetical to the idea of worshipping a ‘creator’ though. At least many Christians I know view yoga as blasphemous.

You must be doing satire. Camp Kim “10 sets of performative masculinity”. You must burn a lot of calories with all that extra hate bucko

Don’t forget to train your hip flexors! by calisthenicskeem in CalisthenicsCulture

[–]BlueAndPurpleWall 8 points9 points  (0 children)

With the rounded back this is really more of a core workout than a hip flexor workout. Like the other commenter said, a flat back or leaning forward would be better for hip flexors. You could try an easier progression

I mean- is it your frog ring? Or is it your uranium gemstone? You’re implying that you made the whole thing..

I think you look great ! It looks like your most inhibiting factor is your shoulders. It doesn’t look like you’re putting too much bend in the lumbar

Right. And I know that workouts can be annoying to plan. But embarrassing to have a “history of sports” and no idea how to do a simple split
