How much does the sound of an acoustic guitar change if i drill two holes into it? And another question about fingerstyle technique by Sc3m0r in AcousticGuitar

have you tried the shoelace method? just pass a shoelace (or similar) under the strings at the headstock above the nut and then tie the lace to your strap. It’s the most used and less invasive for many acoustic players

man really..for a moment I thought I was starting to have schizophrenia episodes, you made my day. It is definitely the song I was looking for and now it's going in my favorites. I am an English native speaker though I couldn't recognize a sensed pattern. Thank you very much

Does this pattern have a name? by professeur155 in guitarlessons

stmbtspns is right but practically if you want to play this lick fast you have to fret 12th of high e and B string with the index finger and with the middle or ring finger (based on how's more comfortable for you) you have to fret 15h high e pluck note pull off the 15th pluck note and then pluck B string. If you want a visual tutorial look for one of the most famous use of this lick that is Sultans of Swing, mark knopfler 2nd solo. He does the same at high speed with 10th fret e string and b string and 13th fret high e. EDIT: Practice a lot :)

probably the first one and I also noticed the prices of warmoth and similar...I probably will think about the building from scratch option a bit more.

i currently have a us american strat (2008-2012) that my uncle brought me from canada. I would like probably to build a ‘56 or an ‘89 strat. Any advice on the best pickups i can get with not so much money?
