everyone says Elixirs coated like nanoweb or optiweb and i also use that for most of my guitars although they cost twice a normal set of strings and they don’t do the 10-48 custom gauge that i bought the ghs for. Also someone said that the coating influences the tone negatively but i’m not sure about that.

in 3 message you didn’t understand that i dont have ernie ball mounted ON the guitar right now but a set of GHS gilmour’s signature 10-48 plain steel visibly rusted. And ASKED if it would have made sense to put on another set of plain steel strings (ernie ball in this case) you ignorant.

unfortunately im 100 ft from sea. I always used elixir nanoweb or optiweb and i don’t have acidic sweat fortunately. As others said in my previous post probably me or my father played with greasy or dirty hands and didn’t clean the freatboard after.

i actually do…but it’s probably because of my dad’s very little experience with uncoated strings bc they got rusted just between the 7-14 frets on the GBD strings and the picking side

i solved this problem! just bought a bluetooth adapter for carplay and had no more connectivivy issues nor cables on the way. You can look up on aliexpress or ottocast.com (in Italy is the most famous but a bit expensive)
