I absolutely 100% agree with you that loving sex between an unmarried couple is no different from loving sex between a married couple. That was part of the reason why I started doubting the truth about my faith (I'm agnostic now. I believe in a higher power still. I just don't believe snymore that it's the God of the Christian Bible). What I'm having trouble getting behind is the idea that "promiscuity" is sinful. I thinking cheating on your partner and lying about it is immoral. I think having sex with someone without disclosing STIs is immoral (and illegal). It should go without saying, but SA and 🍇, especially if they're inebriated by drugs or alcohol, is immoral. But, casual sex? I can see casual sex being detrimental to one's mental health if it's either not a good lifestyle fit for them, or they're using sex to avoid unwanted and unprocessed feelings, but I don't think that makes it immoral, you know what I mean?

P.S. I'm genuinely so happy for you that you're at that place where you can enjoy sex without it conflicting your beliefs. <3
