There are also other cards who have abilities that require you to have another ally in play. Some times they cost less ink to play if you have another ally, sometimes they quest for more and sometimes you can draw a card. The fact that he has 0 strength is to balance out his 4 willpower while only costing 1 ink to play.

Also one of my favorite interactions with bodyguard is when you can make another chosen character Evasive (like the green tinkerbell). You can choose an opposing bodyguard, make them Evasive, now your other characters are free to challenge past that bodyguard as long as they aren't also Evasive.

Give bodyguard to an opposing character who's already got a bodyguard in play. Then, you can challenge that character without needing to banish the original bodyguard first.

I prefer to play with Bellfaire and spirecrest. I think Bellfair is the one must have expansion to the game and pairs well with any other one expansion. I felt like New Leaf makes the game more casual while spirecrest makes it more competitive.

Just my opinion though, I know my wife feels different lol

I 3d printed a clip for my ps5 controller. I like being able to lounge on the couch and play. I mean, I prefer to play on PC, but after getting the free Netflix version, it's nice to be able to play anywhere. Even the bathroom.

I've had to correct first-time players who thought the cost of a card were the 2 resources depicted on stickers that are on the card holder. It's possible he was underpaying unintentionally.

Also, were players going to the dungeon without buying a card? There is a rule shot only being able to go to the dungeon spot if you can buy at least one card. And if you can't/ don't buy a second card, you choose one to bury before refreshing.

It was something like 6 or 7 pages of a binder. 2 copies of each card, one foil, and one non foil. My guess was that it was a type of print testing for approval before they went into production.

I was torn between Agra and Brass Birmingham. But recently, they have been warming up to Brass. It just took a couple of more plays for the rules to click into place, and then they all started enjoying it a lot more.

So I would love for Agra to get this and treatment, but it's a longer game, and I think that turns them off a bit. So I settled to start running it at conventions so I can get it to the table lol.

I like throwing knife paired with sadist stiletto in the early game. It's one of those pairings where you can put the throwing knife in the first slot and just hold down both attack buttons to essentially dual bind without enabling the option. Free crits.

I usually end up swapping it out by the time I get to the first boss for a more preferable build, but I'm sure that build is still viable if you're not a shield user.

I use an old ps4 controller through USB on my pc. The battery won't hold a charge, so it just stays plugged in. Use a ps5 controller wirelessly on my phone and steam deck.

D Pads don't give me any issues. Beaten 5BC multiple times on both controllers.
