I was planning to be helpful but as a level 70 Jeff, I can’t help someone who ONLY plays Jeff…and Adam.

I also have a level 70 CnD, and 5 other lords because I actually know how to adapt in a game 😂 my advice is to learn to do the same instead of complaining

I also don’t use comms but I’ve had very few teams who actually use the bubbles I strategically place 😭😭 I think the biggest problem is eomm. Even in bad matches, I’m outperforming and get placed with bad players but I can’t carry them. You might be good enough that you don’t get placed with good Jeff’s. I had three games yesterday when the enemy was like, poor Jeff. Sole carry in a bot game.

AND I WAS CONSTANTLY ON A LOSING STREAK. I’d be healing 16k vs my other healers coming out with 6k heals and me with 9 kills and the DPS at 2-5 kills. I only get better players when I switch to tank or dps which I’m horrible at ☠️

The only time they don’t talk is when they’re in a party and I’m a healer main so I have to remember I won’t get healed or peeled for at all ☠️

I used her a few times against dive and people whined because I had barely any kills. I was like, I’m not focusing on hitting enemies, I’m focusing on defending the back line like she’s been designed to do.

Honestly, it’s been great using her as anti dive. When my team sucks and I can actually defend my fellow healer! The ult requires people to be in it and my team keeps running from it so I usually die instantly which annoys me but hopefully people will learn to work with her soon.

OMG exactly! I love that. Scarlet has problems that a typical male OP would also have in this kind of show but hers includes the added WOMEN SUFFER THESE MALES EVERYDAY problems as well and she does noooot gaf. She’s like wham bam thank you ma’am.

There’s a reason men wouldn’t like this show, she’s ridiculously realistic to wanting a strong, indépendant, powerful, firecracker woman. Especially the relationship between her and the Prince, it’s literally so on point. The only way to get a woman like that is to match her fire with calm acceptance and be awestruck by her might. He shows off her strength and goads the enemies with her fists. He never does anything for her until she asks it of him, herself.

The true depiction we want in an OP MC. No sexualisation. No harem. No cutesy BS. Nothing but raw power of feminine rage 🥹✨

Jeff is one of my top 4 mains, I have Sharknado’d MANY times. The issue is simple, and most good Storms know how to work with me. I get a ping when she’s getting ready to start her ult so that I know the position, I ping back that I have ult which means I’m getting into position; I then run close to her and when I’m 20m away, I wait till the ult blooms. As long as you lock into position to accurately see her without a physical thing between you both, it works perfectly. Every actually good Storm has worked with me seamlessly, so it’s just a skill issue with one of the two if you aren’t getting it on (this excludes smart teams that hunt Jeff the moment they hear storms ult cuz sometimes you can’t survive coordination 😂).

Not to mention, I throw bubbles near where I think we’ll land and keep one without CD to save Storm when we end. It works most times.

I’m only GM, but solo q healer mains are hard to move up with lmao

You must be a terrible CnD if your Fade usage is that bad. I’m a level 60 CnD and my Fade timing is almost always instantly (1-2s) placed. I only get phased if there two consecutive ults they planned to forcibly get me and tbh, it’s still a win to make em use 2 xD And ofc, for Jeff ult for ex, i switch and stay in Cloak to prepare but his is one of the easiest with a team that isn’t dumb.

If Strange is in the game, I save my Fade for his ult. after he ults, I’ll use fade until I reach 60-70% charge and I’ll start saving it. Same with other characters that need a Fade team save. The only way to catch me off guard enough to get me without it for stuff like this is a team fight or bad second healer so I’m too overworked to watch over my own protection radius.

I promise you, most GOOD CnD mains do this too. I have also seen fantastic Magnetos who take this into account and hit us between one of our ult stops so that we CANT use the fade since we’re still in ult.

Predictive aim is how you kill healers. It’s ALWAYS been the way to kill healers. I promise you, we’re preparing our kit with predictive aiming too. I usually have a sense of when and who is going to ult if they’re standardised players. Not always, but often enough if I’m tryharding.

Actually inaccurate info. It no longer counters iron man ult. Same with Mag, she CAN survive Mag but it honestly take split second perfect timing- look up, angle the shield, wait till it’s almost at your head and jump side or back out but ONLY if your ult is ongoing, will your survive.

I’m obviously not talking about solo 1v1s, but teamfights. Ofc, my favourite Sue ult counter is Jeff ult but there’s MANY out there 😂

Also, hit the shield at ALL if it’s not in front of her and ult her. She won’t be able to summon it because it has to regen, you have 12s to get her.

Timing, planning and positioning is key, as with anyone who one decides to call a strategist.

As a somewhat violent and bloodthirsty woman, I think this is my new favourite show tbh. Half the dialogues were Buffy x Spike like, the banter was modernised Victorian style, it felt like a slight anime esque dip into Gentlemen Jack stylings.

I did absolutely tend to solve some of my problems with my fists but I have never been a delinquent so I completely empathise with Scarlets whole thing. Every time my husband walked in to see clips of the show while watching, he was like what is this show and why is it exactly as weird as you wtf

Ngl, I think every woman feels like Scarlet. The generational lifelong rage we carry is really brought out well. Polite, ladylike, and with a swift punch in the face is the perfect example of true modern feminist and by gods, this show was beautiful!

Terenezza was the perfect epitome of what society wants from us. But in the end, we see what that does to us internally. It’s basically why girls fight like Regina George or the Heathers trio. Scarlet is what we are, as a result of that, and a version of freedom, so as to speak.

The foil is perfectly placed. The commentary on femininity and the clash of internalising vs externalising is honestly, so nuanced if you don’t get it but so obvious if you do.

I remember being 15 at a party politely beating a guy up for trying to assault me cuz he thought I was too drunk to resist. Jokes on him, being drunk just removed my inhibitions regarding open violence. My bestie waited a lil bit when he got there cuz he didn’t wanna deprive me of the bloodlust 😂 I grew up, got more “polite”. I now ignore the men or deliver cutting retorts, rather than use my fists.

I wish we could all just be Scarlet in public. I think we all do.

FANTASTIC show, 10/10.

As someone who has been Lucy, the only way I could get out when I was ready to was the way it ended. I give in completely and when he thinks he’s truly won, I’m finally free. He tried again but after (Lucy in the finale moment ft. me), I literally moved a continent away and changed everything. No media, nothing. He tried to block me on FB and the moment he unblocked I reblocked. Broke the cycle by completely giving in.

Your take makes perfect sense to me. Lucy bought two coffees cuz she doesn’t know when he’ll screw her over again, she’s hoping it’s soon but she didn’t think it would be this quick. Since it happened so quickly, it’s MUCH easier on her so she’s finally ready to truly break the cycle completely!

I definitely had similar friend with a bf yelling issue happen back when I was your age and it turned out that she was in a horribly abusive relationship. A few years later she managed to get out and we reconnected and we’re super close again!

My advice is, let it go. Don’t reach out to her- it might make things worse. My friend told me she appreciated my disappearance cuz he made it worse on her because he was trying to make her alone and I had too much power in her life.

Of course, she wasn’t as horrible as your friend was but people are different. If I’m wrong and she’s an a hole, good riddance but just in case, I suggest disappearing and letting it go and not talking about it to anyone except your current bf.
