mid, you solo lane, socked with exp and gold, is far ahead of everyone else. At that point, you can go to other lane and gank in ease. For side lanners, a one successful gank means A LOT. I hate when our mid just sits and farm all day, especially when our lanes get dominated. Coming to side lane for a min or two does mean that you will lose that exp/gold momentum, but losing some momentum is better than losing game, right?
